zero-G 5/8" x 50ft Garden Hose, Lightweight Kink-Free Water Hose 4001-50

I love this hose. I have one that is over 7 years old. When you turn off the water, the hose is super flexible and easy to coil up on a hanger. This is NOT A SCRUNCHY HOSE that shrivels up when you shut the water off. I've had those and never had one last more that a few weeks. The connectors are solid.

Have tried multiple types of lighter hose and this is the best and lasts well. Every other hose from the stretch ones to the nylon ones with a seam down one side soon leak and don't last. I have about 5 of these and keep them coiled near my garden and flower beds and they really do well. Of course I drain them for winter.

I can’t believe I am this impressed with a garden hose. I was so frustrated with how difficult it was to coil my traditional hose onto its holder. This hose is a game changer. It is so lightweight that I can just lightly pull on it and carry it around the yard. And maybe because it is not kinked up, the water pressure is so good the sprinkler could darn near reach my neighbor’s yard.

This is a great Hose. I like the way It’s very flexible and I can move around the yard with it. I have also attached it to electric pressure washer with no issues. I also like the way it attaches to the faucet and when I need to un attach it, it comes off great and does not give me a struggle.!

The first time I purchased this hose was in 2022. Its value is it is light weight, flexible, and easy to move around. It does not kink and can be stored easily onto a hose reel. The only problem is its life span. Within 2 years, in 2024, the hose sprung several leaks along the hose that were not anywhere near the ends of the hose. With more leaks appearing every few months, I decided to replace it with a 100 feet Zero-G 4001 in 2024. So here I am writing this review in August of 2026 and guess what, this 2024 bought hose has sprung a leak just below the attachment end of the hose. The outside hose covering is intact but the internal tubing must have burst to cause the leak. When I shut the water off at the spigot, I made sure to relieve some of the water pressure still in the hose when I wound it back up onto the hose reel to help extend the life of the hose but apparently that did not help. With normal garden hose usage, is the quality of this hose worth paying for if it lasts only two years?

I can't tell you how great this hose is. It is my second one. Light, maneuverable and easy to hook up to everything. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hose.

Bought this as a replacement for another just like it. The first one lasted about 6 years. It was the metal that got a hole in it and not the fabric hose

I've been buying Zero hoses for years and felt they were a good purchase -until recently. The last 3 hoses I purchased have been distincly inferior. They kink quickly, leak at nozzle end and simply do not stand up to the quality of "older" models. In fact I did send one back that did notfunction well. This being said they still are extremely flexible and easy to handle and that is important. Gotta say last purchase was Pocket Hose so I could compare. Regardless of result Zero lost out on that sale.

My 85 yo mother-in-law likes to garden. She was having trouble hauling around our old heavy garden hoses. I bought her one 50' hose and she loved it so much that I bought two more (and later two more for our daughter-in-law's father as an Xmas gift to enjoy before the snow). Everyone likes then saying they are much easier to use.

No pesa nada, yo la tengo al 100% en el sol y no le pasa nada, no se cuartea, no se tuerce , es una maravilla, las compré de 30 y 15 metros ambas son excelentes, si piensas que es cara no tienes idea de lo que he gastado en mangueras que se rompen a los 6 meses, vale la pena pagar un poco más.

Por el momento la sigo probando y al dia de hoy cumplio todas mis necesidades Resistente, ligera, no se enreda como las mangueras comunes solo falta esperar su duracion en el tiempo. Por el momento la recomiendo mucho

Es una manguera muy ligera, fácil de enrollar y desenrollar. Se desplaza con mucha facilidad. Funciona muy bien.

I had a 50' Zero-G hose for 7 years until last year, worn out, it finally sprang leaks. Fantastic hose, easy to use. I bought another 100-ft one three years ago, for about $100, and once again no problems. Love it. Last year I bought another 50-ft hose to replace the old one. It was shipped defective - there was a leak right where the hose connected to the coupling. I returned it and got my money back. But this year, to replace that one, I bought another 50-ft Zero-G on Amazon in April for $75 and now, in mid-July, it sprang a leak about two feet from the coupling. I won't be buying another Zero-G.
