Works for smores but is too flimsy to hold a pot.
I bought this for my daughter's campout themed birthday party because our entire province is under a fire ban.It is basically a small electric burner with 2 heat settings. The smores setting is hot enough to roast marshmallows in a couple of minutes and that is what I bought it for, so I will keep it. To be honest though, you could probably accomplish the same task over a toaster...The product also has a setting for fondue which would probably work fine, except that the metal cover that goes over the burner does not attach in any way, it just sits on top. So if you bump it, it slides off the side. I tried putting a small pot on the cover to see how stable it was but if the pot is even a little bit off center, the metal cover slides off. If you used it for fondue, you would have hot fondue all over the place in no time.

Fun but pricey for what it is.
It's fun and can both be used to make smores and to keep chocolate fondue warm. The only thing is since this company is the only one making this product, it seam's they can sell it at a higher price. It is simply a heating element but it works and Having Smores all year long is pretty fantastic if you ask me.
