Nice cover, but the corners are showing cracks, brittle plastic
I got this because my previous Moko cover which was a soft material finally wore out after 2 years with the case basically disintegrating. That's ok, after constant almost daily use I wouldn't expect it to last much longer. This is the replacement because that case is no longer available from Moko. I like this case, but after having the case on my Nexus for only a few weeks, and having never dropped it, the corners near the hinge for the folding cover are showing cracks, and small pieces of plastic have popped off, leaving a rather sharp edge there. Its still holding the Nexus tightly, so I'm not currently worried about the Nexus falling out, but it demonstrates that this plastic is rather brittle. I still like the case, I'm just hoping it doesn't continue to fall apart. By the way, the normal way I hold the case is in portrait mode, when I do that I fold the cover up, just like you would to sit the Nexus down to use it in landscape mode, then I hold on to that folded cover in my left hand with my thumb from my left hand on the top of the Nexus. I find this comfortable and secure.By the way, if you have a Nexus that is in auto rotate, and it will not auto rotate to landscape, I find the way to force it, is to enter Netflix and play something for a few seconds. Netscape is good at forcing the Nexus into landscape mode. Hope that helps you folks like me who like their Nexus 7, and don't want anything newer just yet.

Smart, sturdy, and great value
A very nice quality case (I have the Indigo) that looks good both at home and in the office. The open-on/close-off magnets work reliably. The plastic shell and back fit the Nexus 7 very snugly. All the ports and buttons are readily accessible through the accurately-positioned cutouts. In fact the cutouts around the power and volume buttons make it easier to find and press those buttons than when the Nexus 7 wasn't in the case (I didn't have a case for it during the first week of ownership). The front (sectional) panel has a quality feel both inside (soft microfiber) and outside. The metal clasp makes it easy to pull the front panel open, and provides a positive "snap" when closing against the magnets.** Edit ** Ignore the minor gripe below. I was folding the case into a triangle "the wrong way" (with the microfiber on the outside). Folding it into a triangle with the microfiber on the inside allows the magnets to stick firmly and the triangle keeps it's shape.I've had this case for 2 months now, and although it's only had light use (a few plane trips in a laptop bag) it still looks like new. Therefore upping my rating from 4 to 5 stars. The one minor gripe: When positioning the tablet in either of the 2 tilted positions (about 15 and 75 degrees to horizontal), where the sectional front cover is folded into a triangle, that front cover tries to unfold, causing the tablet to eventually fall flat. Perhaps over time the front panel "creases" will become less stiff, so that the triangular shape stays put, but if/when that happens I'll be concerned about those same creases beginning to tear apart. To emphasize what I mean, take a look at the 4th picture in the main description (of the hand holding up the tablet in landscape mode, while the front panel is folded into a triangle beneath) - there is no way that the magnets in my case can overcome the stiffness in the creases to keep that shape, the cover simply unfolds into a flattened shape. It's a minor gripe, because the tablet stays in the tilted position for at least a while, and if it starts to fall it's easy enough to re-fold the cover and prop it up again - but it's not quite perfection. For the price though, it's excellent value.

Second verse, same as the first!
This is the second MoKo case I've purchased for my Nexus 7 Tablet. Before the first, I read the comments regarding the little magnets coming loose or falling out. That happened to me as well, but the case was worth fixing (2 drops of superglue). It surrounds the corners of the tablet and protects the screen with it's cover. I love that opening and closing the cover will wake up or put to sleep the tablet. Ironically, I also purchased the Nexus/Google brand cover initially and it does not have the wake up/put to sleep feature. Oh, well, that went on eBay.So, after two years and some rough handling by me, I broke off a corner of the first case. I didn't hesitate to replace it with the same MoKo case.

Nothing special here
It's a cover and it does that well. It's nothing exceptional. The magnets within the front cover work, but I can see some people getting irritated with the front cover folding (to make a stand) and then collapsing under the weight of the tablet. It does have a good hold, you just need to make sure those magnets connect. There are 2 small magnets embedded in the hard shell backing directly to the right side of the tablet in it's portrait orientation. The magnets are visible, and are there to seal the front cover shut. Since the cover is always being opened, eventually the embedded magnets are pulled out. This happened within a month for the first magnet, then about 2 months later, the second magnet came out. So now there's nothing to hold and seal the front cover closed. It's still a decent case, despite the 2 issues. My nexus 7 is still protected. If the spine of the case rips,,, I'll let everyone know, but so far it has held up and appears to be durable.

Excellent customer service
I am beyond impressed with this company and product. I had purchased this case over a year ago and never had any problems with it until I accidentally left it in my car one hot summer day and it appeared to have softened in the heat, ultimately forming a completely new retracted shape. I came back to Amazon to buy a new one when I saw that they had a lifetime warranty. So I emailed the company, explained my situation, and they sent me a brand new one free of charge, no questions asked. (Unfortunately they were out of the awesome orange color, but I think I like the indigo color even better.) The case is sleek but does add some bulk to the super sleek Nexus, which is easy to get used to. Most of all, it protects the tablet excellently. I can't tell you how many times my tablet has accidentally ended up on the floor, but has come away unscathed. I would buy this product again, even if there weren't a lifetime warranty.

Quietly Surprised
I have a 5-year old Nexus 7 2013. The tablet is in great condition and I wanted to keep it that way. I previously ordered another protective case (from a different supplier) for the same tablet, but it was a flexible rubber case that just didn't feel nice. I saw this case listed and decided to purchase. I'm glad I did. It's a great quality item. The base / back of the case is hardened black plastic into which the Nexus 7 2013 fits perfectly. The centre part of the back of the case is covered with the same material as on the front of the case. This is, in my opinion, a very premium case. You know the tablet's going to be protected. The upper lid of the case has a felt covering on the side that touches the screen. The outside of the upper lid is a faux leather effect. The colour of the case I purchased was Indigo, a nice deep blue. The one thing I was surprised at was how much weight the case added to the tablet. That may have been psychological, but I didn't mind. That robustness just heightened the feeling that the tablet was being well protected.Without a shadow of a doubt, I can recommend purchasing this case for the Nexus 7 2013 edition. I would imagine that all other tablet cases by this manufacturer are of the same quality.

Good quality and fit.
Good strong case, my nexus fits snug and tight. I chose this particular case because of the fitting on the right. My old case split on the corners and the small magnets fell out. This one doesn't have corner magnets so I'm fairly happy that it won't split there. It still has the sleep function, so that's great. Only had it a few days but it seems great.

Very good design.
Good fit on the Nexus 7, the best that I have had. Good quality although I would expect that the "suede" finish on the inside of the cover will become shabby.Would recommend.
