Perfect fit for Snow Peak 450 cup
Fits my Snow Peak 450 double wall titanium cup perfectly - no leakage when drinking. Does a great job keeping coffee or tea hot. Many thanks to the reviewer who posted about this lid fitting the Snow Peak cup - I wouldn't have purchased the lid without that review.

Good, but too many pieces to clean
Overall this is a good lid, but while it's leak proof as advertised, it is kind of a complicated design that makes it hard to clean. The cap is actually 5 separate parts, so to clean it (properly) you have to disassemble the five parts, hand wash or put through the dishwasher, then re-assemble the 5 parts. Overly complicated in my opinion. After using this "2.0" version for about a week and washing it every day, I ordered several of the old non-leak proof caps because it's rare I need them to be leak proof to just sit in the cupholder of my car. The old version of the Cafe Cap is only two pieces and is "splash proof" but not completely leak proof like the 2.0.

Finally, Kleen Kanteen made the lid I want
Overall, this is pretty great and I'm glad I bought it. It's totally worth the $6 I paid for it via Prime Pantry or whatever it's called. I've been using this lid daily for two weeks now, and here are my thoughts.Pros:- Leakproof! I kinda can't believe it. I have a slew of Kleen Kanteen wide mouths of various sizes and insulation, and I was so disappointed with the original cafe cap. This version looks the same but is completely different. I like to have water in the morning and then fill my bottle up with carbonated fountain soda at lunch, and this manages to remain leakproof even with pressurized contents. My Contigo lid leaks slightly if I do this, so bonus points for Kleen Kanteen. To re-emphasize, this is LEAK PROOF. No leaks. None. I carry my bottle sideways in my bag with my papers, electronics, etc, so leaking, even a few drops, is a big deal for me; this does not leak, at all.- Insulation: The lid is designed such that there is a rubbery silicone disk on the inside the gets squished down as part lid closing mechanism. At first, I thought this was overengineering, but I realized this serves a purpose: insulation. It does a pretty legit job of keeping my colds cold and my hots hot, better than my Contigo lid, and possibly better than the regular ol' D-ring lid.- Drinking: It feels nice to drink from, certainly better than directly against the metal.- Dishwasher safe.Neutral/Cons: I actually don't have anything about this lid that I downright dislike, so to call this section "cons" would be a little deceiving. These are more "criticisms," and I'm really being picky.- Drinking: liquids flow relatively slowly out of the hole compared to the original cafe cap. This is actually really nice when drinking hot coffee that you want to sip on, or a carbonated beverage than you wouldn't want to chug. It's a little annoying if you want to pour the contents of the bottle out, or if you're trying to chug water quickly. I honestly only notice it if I'm literally trying to chug water, otherwise it's kinda nice.- Disassembly: it's a little bit of a pain to disassemble and reassemble the lid. You get the hang of it and can do it quickly, but it is odd at first. I actually haven't noticed much need to frequently do this, even with drinking coffee and soda, as the lid doesn't seem to retain flavors or smells. My Contigo thermos lid, which cannot be disassemble to my knowledge, retains flavors and smells much, much worse, even after going through the dishwasher, so again, I don't consider this to be too much of an issue.

No drips when upside down
The Klean Kanteen absolutely requires this cap if you're doing anything more than walking to the cafe for a fresh cup. The "cafe" cap, the one you would drink from, leaks like a sieve when I carry my Kanteen to work full of coffee in my satchel. I might lose an ounce of coffee, but that's enough to make a mess. This cap seals. There is no leakage when you turn the cup upside down.

Definitely NOT LEAKPROOF
I can't say that I like this at all. I bought it because it said it was leakproof. Neither I or my husband was able to tighten it in any way to keep it from leaking. I regret this purchase.I have a few Klean Kanteen water bottles. They all have a tendency to leak if you don't screw on the cap just right. I was hoping that this lid might be the answer to that problem. But, it was way worse. At least, with the other lids eventually I could get them not to leak. But, with this lid I could not find any scenario where it would not leak. I am planning to get rid of all of my Klean Kanteen bottles because it is such a challenge to keep them from leaking.
