GOWORX Free Ride Mount. 3 in 1 Action Camera Mount + Tripod Adapter for iPhone, Galaxy & All Other Smart Phones

This is a great mount that I totally trust with my iPhone 8 Plus. It clamps down tightly around a phone so that there is no wiggle. If tightened properly, I highly doubt a phone will fall out of it. The screw is good, plus the rubberized grips on the inside of the clamp make sure everything stays in place. The best part about this mount is that it fits my phone no matter which one of my phone cases I have on. Usually, I have a regular leather Apple case on my phone but sometimes I have a huge and bulky Defender Otter Box case on it. Even with the Defender on my phone, it still fits. I will add that I ended up buying this product twice because the first one broke. I do feel that the break was not at the fault of the product. The mount was attached to a long gooseneck style monopod and my then 4-year-old decided to pick it up and play with it like a sword when I accidentally left it out. It ended up hitting the kitchen counter at a medium speed and the top of the C clamp broke off. Again, this isn't a product fault but more to say that I feel like if you were to drop it and/or it banged into something with decent force, it might break.

I bought this phone mount back in January of 2019. I use it for recording POV Fishing vids for my Youtube channel by attaching it to a GoPro Chestie (Chest Mount), and for streaming IRL Fishing and other IRL streams on Twitch by attaching the mount to one of several tripods I own and getting a wide view angle of the area I'm in. I've used this with a Moto G 4 (2018 Model) with no problems, and with a Samsung Galaxy S24 and a Samsung Galaxy A35 (both 2024 models). I use the thinner gel like, clear, bendable phone cases that are grippy for all of my phones and they all fit without issue in this mount. As I expand my IRL Streaming on Twitch and other platforms, I needed another mount for various purposes, so I'm back to buy my second one and leave this review. 5 1/2 years of use and NEVER a problem with this mount. I didn't read other reviews so I have no idea how it holds up for other folks, depending on their use, so I'll describe what I do with mine. When I have this on the Chest Mount, I'm in my boat or shore fishing, sometimes wading and bushwacking from spot to spot; or I might be on a paved bike path on my mountain bike cruising next to my local rivers going from spot to spot. There is no high speed, up and down or any wild movements or actions that might cause stress to any of the connectors and cause it to break. When it's not on the Chest Mount it's on a tripod and it sits stationary. I had no issues getting it to mate up with the GoPro Chestie, and have had no issues with it on the tripod. All I can say is YMMV depending on what you're doing and how hard you go. I hope this review was helpful for you. Tight Lines and Cheers!

Works as advertised and it’s sturdy. Want worried about phone falling out.

This is perfect for what I need. I used it to mount my s21 ultra to my gopro mount. Held solid all day at the track. The clamp is a screw type that doesn't loosen unless you loosen it. Much better than any spring clamp I've ever used. It fits my S21 ultra with the case still on it Would recommend

I used this to have my phone in the dash of my 97 Jeep Xj so I could have navigation and also record off-roading. That car isn’t the most isolated from the road or smooth ride so my phone would vibrate back and forth a bunch but it’s what I expected from a giant off-road vehicle. It works great! I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with a giant carbon fiber pelican case on it and it barely fit but it fit! That being said, this could probably hold your phone too. Got some cool footage and used for nav and it served its purpose!

The parts with the holes that are supposed to slide into the mount are too thick. I had to sand them down. The item didn’t fit at all into the GoPro Quick Release Buckle Clip (which you HAVE to use with the 3-Way 2.0, my fixture of choice). For that purpose I had to make indents in the item (see pics) with a jewelry making tool (Dremel would work too). This item is far from perfectly executed… kinda annoying to have to work on it, and it made a nasty plastic dust mess. Other than that it’s an ok base that you can improve. So… 2.5 stars… and only for someone who is handy at fixing things.

Purtroppo dopo 3 minuti di vita si è rotto, ho montato il telefono sul supporto e l'ho messo sulla moto. Ho spostato il telefono con il supporto montato sull'attacco per regolarlo e crack si è rotto. Composizione della plastica troppo dura e poco malleabile.
