Great Thunderbolt Monitor
It just works with my macbook pro. I am able to charge it from the thunderbolt 3 cable off of the monitor. Additionally, I appreciate the other usb-c, hdmi, and display port cables provided. The screen is more than enough for what I need for my programming work. Love this monitor.

Very nice monitor
I am using this monitor with my MacBook Pro 14”Colours are excellent and accurate as one would expect from ProArt seriesI just wish it would be 5K as text on iMac 5K monitor is sharper. However the price would be much more for 5K :)In any case I would recommend it to anyone

Thunderbolt ports failed after four months
This is a really good monitor, when it works. The colors are great, the brightness is insane and makes me wonder what anyone would want with an XDR monitor, but the positives end there. There are two problems, actually.1. My thunderbolt ports aren't working any longer. Not sure why but when i switched to using my new Mac Pro, it stopped responding to any inputs. I tried all of the obvious fixes but nothing. I then plugged it back into my MBPro and boom, nothing. Multiple cables, multiple computers, multiple settings and nothing. With HDMI and Display port it works fine but I bought this, partially, because I wanted a TB3 capable monitor.2. Support is non-existent. The support # doesn't even ring and just sits there with this sound as if your call was picked up but no one is speaking on the other end. The website is useless because the problem I'm having isn't addressed in the FAQ and when I try to use live chat (during stated business hours) I get an error message.I really want to continue loving this monitor but the longer I get zero help from Asus, the less I'll be thrilled with this monitor. I tried three different monitors in house before I chose this one but now I am kind of regretting it. I'll probably wind up selling this on Craigslist and getting something else. I've been a loyal Asus monitor user for ten years and never once needed service. Now that I do, my view of Asus is badly tarnished.

Great monitor
I recommend leaving local dimming off when not using HDR. I ran into an issue where some dimming zones didn't light back up after disabling local dimming. It only happened twice and turning the monitor off and back on fixed it. Other than that, no show-stopping issues. One thing I didn't like about it was that if I had two input sources and pulled one out, the monitor doesn't automatically switch to the remaining one. I didn't mind it too much but it can definitely annoy other users. I returned it to wait for the PA32UCG that's supposed to come out later this year.

Great sRGB monitor, off-putting out-of-the-box settings, bad menu
I have to thank the first reviewer for detailed description of the problem they ran into. After reading it, I decided to risk buying this monitor, hoping that first reviewer's was just a lemon - as I really needed the monitor with decent sRGB coverage, and not too expensive. When I plugged the monitor in, I saw exactly the same terrible behavior as described by the first reviewer, which lead me to believe that it probably just had something to do with default settings. Sure enough, after turning off Dynamic Dimming (see the picture) the weirdness has gone away. Asus, I don't know who you are targeting with those default settings, but certainly not photo/video hobbyists, and this choice is going to cost you sales, and possibly even fail the product line for otherwise very good product.Something still remains to be said about the menu. It's just horrible. There's a matrix of "Splendid" modes described in the manual, with each mode having seemingly totally randomly disabled color and gamma adjustments. Just finding a mode where I could simply adjust RGB, brightness and contrast was an ordeal. Asus, what has possessed you? Finally, I ran calibration using Spyder 5 Pro, and it confirmed that sRGB is covered at 100% within the margin of error of the tool (see picture). Overall, this monitor will work really well for color fidelity conscious, if you have good enough bottle of something to get you through the fight with the menu.
