Lacquer-Stik Paintstick, Red

Good value and easy to use. The Red color does however come out slightly pink. A true red would have been better. The white color is the truest and easiest to get results with for highlighting.

I bought the red and white Lacquer-Stik Paintsticks to fill in my gun engravings on my Glock 22 and AR-15.These worked great for that!The cleanup was a pain when I tried Acetone and rubbing Alcohol, which did nothing to get this stuff off.While the paint came off, it left a haze or film of the paint on the slide and AR-15 lower.I was about out of options, until I ran across some Mr. Clean Magic Erasers underneath my sink. This took off the excess paint on the Glock slide and the AR-15 lower with no elbow grease and just water to moisten up the magic eraser.I recommend picking some of those magic erasers I you decide to use these on your gun.I have shot my Glock a few time and the paint has stayed on the slide after about 200 rounds at the range.Great product and would buy again!!

I really like these sticks, they work well for filling in markings on my guns and motorcycles. I just wish the red was red, it is a pinkish rose color.

Works great and looks great. I used it to fill in a spider logo on a spikes tactical lower receiver and the fire and auto in red and the safe position in white. Clean what you want to fill with acetone heat the part with a hair dryer and heat the tip of the stick wipe off excess and clean area with a cloth with more acetone.

Hi all,Well as you can see, most of my reviews are generally positive. I purchased this red stick as well as a white stick. These grease sticks or whatever you want to call them do work, but there are many reasons why I do not endorse them at all. Here's why:Red:- It is not a true red. It's like a pinkish red. it is NOTHING like the red as shown in their product pic. Do not be deceived.- I used these to fill in the indented fire control group letters as well as a logo. This is not a precision product. You will get it everywhere to fill in the indented letters- It's very difficult to remove and leaves a residue. I hope someone else whose used this can email me back or post on my review some instructions or product that will allow me to remove the residue.White: Same reasons as above except the first bullet.

A great form of a quality lacquer paint, ideal for use in the Shop. Easy to use, with no clean-up required, and a real time-saver. Great for infilling the graduations on machine tool feed bezels.

Arrived with the tip broken off, but that didn’t really matter. I only needed a small amount to do what I needed to do. As other reviewers mentioned, it is more pink than red, but once it’s applied most people won’t notice unless you point it out. I used it to highlight the “fire” position on my firearm’s safety. Perfect.

While the chemical makeup of the stick I received is probably the same....The stick itself was broken into pieces, it had been dropped by someone on something hard before it was shipped (the box full of bubble wrap and its trip in it were not the problem).The label is a yellow one, without the instructions, and what there is has most of it covered by an additional bar code label (I assume part of the Amazon warehouse stock keeping labeling).So the photo of this needs to be updated to reflect reality - as the "USE:..." part may be important to some, and don't break them before shipping.
