I was nearly put off by some negative reviews on here but went ahead and bought the scales anyway to go with my new Fitbit. At the time I did feel it was a bit of a “frivolous” purchase that I probably didn’t need but I wanted the scales anyway. They are one of the best things I have ever bought. First of all, they were insanely easy to set-up. I haven’t needed to tinker with them since and both me and my boyfriend use the scales and they automatically know who is who, and send our weight to the correct phone.But most of all, these scales, with my Fitbit connected to MyFitnessPal for food logging, were pivotal in helping me to achieve my weight loss goals. They keep me accountable, because they are automatically logging my weight so there is no hiding from the number on the scale. I have found it so motivating to see my weight go down gradually in the app, especially seeing my body fat percentage decrease and resting heart rate improve as well.I had a stone to lose and lost it in 4 months. I’m now enjoying exercising for the first time in my life and watching the improvements in my health show in the app. I am more confident and happy, and more in control of my body than ever before. There can be no greater endorsement than that surely!

I bought a Fitbit Charge 2, in the 21st Century it seemed logical to include a set of scales that talked to the Fitbit software so I bought these. I read the reviews as usual beforehand and decided to continue even though there are some not so enthralled customers.I set it up the Fitbit Unisex Aria 2 Smart Scales without referring to instructions, it was easy. I plumbed in the scales to the home router and was away. It does everything I want it to and more. I included the wife's fit bit, that was easy too. The Fitbit Unisex Aria 2 Smart Scale is a useful addition to you fitness and lifestyle choices, is is better than a quality electronic scale? Yes because is gives me a reading evrytime unlike the latter which often says Err.......! Mechanical scale are just not bult like they usd to be in my opinion.My advice to anyone thinking about getting them but put off by the reviews is become familiar with the Fitbit software, buy the scales, read the instructions unless like me you can follow your nose, and enjoy!My ps is that these scales do weigh guests who do not have a Fitbit, anyone who has difficulty with that should read the weight on the display or read the results on the Fitbit software and either use or delete it as required.Its not rocket science!

Vorab:Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Waage! Sie synchronisiert sofort, hat eine hohe Belastungsgrenze und auch die Einrichtung der Waage war super einfach und schnell durchgeführt!Jetzt im Detail:Aufgrund meines hohen Gewichtes habe ich nach einer belastbaren Waage gesucht und die Aria 2 gefunden (was perfekt ist, da ich auch ein Armband von Fitbit besitze).Die Verpackung der Waage war super, es war auch eine einfache Bildanleitung beigefügt, worüber man die Einrichtung sofort durchführen konnte! Die Fitbit App hat dort auch ungemein geholfen, da die integrierte Geräteeinrichtung auch die Waage sofort aufführt. WLAN Verbindung ist ebenfalls sehr gut, kann nicht nachvollziehen, warum einige Probleme mit der Konnektivität haben (nutze die Waage ein Stockwerk tiefer als der Router und dazwischen liegen Stahlbetonwände sowie 2 massive Stahlträger, was eigentlich zu extremen Problemen führen sollte).Vor dem ersten Test war ich etwas misstrauisch, da die Waage eine komplette Glasoberfläche besitzt, jedoch war das Misstrauen unbegründet. Die Waage hat sofort reagiert, ebenfalls gesagt, ob ich richtig stehe, eine einseitige Belastung vorliegt (zu sehr aufs linke/rechte Bein gestellt statt auszugleichen) und hat dann auch prompt nachgefragt, ob ich der richtige Nutzer bin!Die Einrichtung mehrerer Nutzer ging auch schnell und effektiv. Eine Einladung per App über die Aria 2 versendet und schon konnten Familienmitglieder sich in der Fitbit App einloggen und ich konnte die Gewichtsmessungen per Hand zuweisen, danach waren die Ergebnisse für mich unsichtbar (jeder sieht nur seine eigenen Ergebnisse!). Kurzzeitig problematisch wurde es, als meine Schwester und ihr Freund ca. das gleiche Gewicht und Körperfettanteil besaßen, da die Waage zuerst alles aufs Konto meiner Schwester "gebucht" hat. Nach einem Denkanstoß fragt die Waage nun jedoch immer nach, welcher von beiden Nutzern die Waage genutzt hat, also überhaupt kein Manko.

I have had the scales for a few months now. They are great for tracking weight. I really like how I just have to stand on them, they know it's me and record my weight in the fitbit app automatically, so I can easily look back and see trends. They never have any trouble distinguishing between me and my boyfriend.On the downside, do not expect the body fat percentage to be accurate. They consistently tell me my body fat is around 30% (borderline obese). At a recent health check, I had a foot to hand body fat test that came out at 20% (borderline athlete). I can't say that either value is accurate, but just don't panic or become complacent based on the figure these give. I imagine you can still use them to track whether your body fat is trending up or down, but I wouldn't trust the number.
