Among the most popular and common to find of the bromeliad family, this native of Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina grows well in many American homes. It is capable of being grown on the side of another plant as a non-parasitic life form, or in a pot of soil on its own. Either way, it's roots always remain shallow and it takes the majority of its moisture from the leaves and flowers. Due to its easy to split and share nature, Billbergia nutans is often called the Friendship plant. Queen’s Tears comes from the drops of nectar that weep from the flowers when the plant is moved or touched. New shoots are produced multiple times a year, and the brilliant colors of the flower are always appreciated in plant lovers' homes. Plant grows quickly
I purchased this plant in April 2022. I was very pleased with its arrival, potted it up and watched it grow. After a year I repotted it into a 6 inch pot. It grew beautifully (and I waited for it to bloom) until it didnt. When I went to look into it .. I found 1. Completely dry & Many dry leaves to be removed (Fla heatwave) and it needs to be repotted into 8 inch pot. My question is how do I get in touch with the nursery and why did I pay 22$ and it is now it’s $49?

About my Bromeliads
The Bromeliads (2) were packaged in a crinkly flexible mailing bag so one arrived DOA having broken in two.The second one had no roots and I tried planting it but it failed to root so I put it in a little water and yesterday it finally took it's last breath and died having never developed a root. I am a plant person and I have great success with plants, however, the 3" ones that this company sent with two leaf stems each and no roots did not stand a chance. Sorry.
