Worked right out of the box for my Onkyo receiver, once I added my own batteries.(Batteries not included.) No problems whatsoever, and I received it quickly. I only use it for the Onkyo receiver.

This appears to be a universal remote that is already pre-programmed for Onkyo receivers. Works well and has almost all the functions of the original. Only one I can seem to see that it doesn't have is the display dimmer button. Seems to be of decent quality.

This receiver (Onkyo) requires a good remote for OSD setup and this one filled the bill.

100% Works with the Onkyo TX-DS797 reciever. It took me waaaay too long to source a remote for my reciever after the original stopped working, thankfully I found this!

I have an HT-R640 and the remote broke years ago, so I ordered this. I bought it in February of 2020, and it worked fine for about 4 years. For the last 2, buttons on the remote have stopped working for no apparent reason, and now the only ones left that I use and still work are the volume, EQ adjustment, and power (which I have to press multiple times). I never dropped it, new batteries don't make a difference, and what makes it even stranger is that the RECEIVER button lights up when I press any button, but nothing happens. I've never had this happen with any other remote. They usually just stop working all together. Now I have to buy a new one.
