As noted by other reviewers, this device can be tricky to setup requiring any 5GHz network to be disabled before configuring the device. Note that you can re-enable the 5GHz network after setup and it should still work fine. That having been said, it is a good product but please also be very aware that the advert for this device refers to the "smart life" app which is made by Tuya; HOWEVER this device is made by a competitor company and is NOT compatible with the "smart life" app. It requires a different app called "eWeLink". If someone has managed to make this device work with the "smart life" app then I am impressed as, I believe, the device firmware uses a technology not supported by "smart life". If you have any other home automation products that work with "smart life" then you will end up with two apps ("smart life" and "eWeLink") on your mobile/tablet/etc. Note also that you need to create separate accounts for any apps you use. If you want to control all your devices from one app, that is possible; you can just link your accounts. And, if like me, you don't want to be drawn into the Google/Alexa universe you might consider using the SmartLife app instead.

It does what it says the big issue I have is the brightness of the on light on it.

Instructions were on pages 3cm by 3cm. Used magnifying glass to read them. Downloaded the app but couldn’t get anything working. Might work ok for a very tech savvy person with awesome eyesight, but no use hit me. Returning this.

Won’t connect to our router, needs 5.0 not 2.4, if your router does both it won’t connect unless you disable 2.4 which most other devices are using

bought these as it states work with smart life app tried for ages to set them up just would not connect downloaded the ewelink app as stated in the instruction connected straight away do not want several apps to run my smart plugs so returned them
