Bloomsbury Gelupo Gelato

This book is the best and exactly what I was looking for to make my ice cream. I love everything about it: the fantastic recipes, the color, the size, and the design. And yes, I love Gelupo ice cream shop in Soho, too. There are no photos in the book (but I don't mind - do we really need them to make some ice cream?! Everyone knows what it should look like). But what I love most is that I can achieve the best flavor and creamy texture through most of its recipes without loading my ice cream with fat, sugar, and egg yolks. Although ice cream requires sugar and some fat, of course, these recipes are definitely lighter than the majority of the recipes out there. So far, I've made for di latte, chocolate, hazelnut, and raspberry sorbet. They all turned out delicious. Yes, I highly recommend it, 100%!

This was a gift for my son who had requested an ice cream maker for his birthday. He is delighted with the recipes enabling him to use the ice cream maker with great success!

Easy to follow directions for making delicious gelato. This is the third book I bought by this chef and love all three. Treat yourself!
