These baskets are amazing. Each of our 4 children received bikes for Christmas and we thought these would be the perfect touch to their new wheels. They were! We were visiting my mother on the farm at the time and she sent the kids to collect the eggs, so they decided to take their bikes and baskets to retrieve the several dozens of eggs. Everything seemed to be going well as all 4 kids had about 3 dozens each of eggs until... the oldest leading the way didn’t see the enormous rock right in front of him and had a head on collision. As we know wherever there is not one child paying attention there are 3 more doing the same. One right after the other wam wam wam each slamming into the biked person ahead of them. Yolk and shells were flying everywhere, kids were crying and blaming one another and to this day I can’t get the stuck on goop out of the mesh in the baskets, making them almost capable of holding liquid. The worst part of it is that my mother couldn’t fulfill the entire order for her customer and has lost them as a purchaser. Christmas was much more costly than we initially anticipated especially with the ER visits.

We own 3 of those. Black, Pink and Purple and kids love them. They have Sepcialized Hotrock 16 and 20 and it fits perfectly on those. Basket is just the right size to fit water bottle, few snacks and toys that's they like to take for a longer bike ride or trip to the park. Basket can be taken off and carried by the handle if needed but we secured ours to the bike with zip ties. Two of the baskets are banged a little from my kids falling but hold up pretty great especially considering the fact my kids do not go easy on any equipment EVER! :) Recommended!

This model worked pretty well for a Woom 3, although I won't encourage my child to take it off and use it as a portable basket without some help from an adult. It barely fits for a Trek MT 60 and won't work at all as a hand basket.If your child's bike has hand brakes, this basket is pretty wide. It works best when there's a straight, thin crossbar rather than a curved handlebar. The hooks are pretty solid, which means the basket won't snap off. It also means that it's nearly impossible to bend it to fit curving handlebars. Zip ties, velcro and some creativity fix a lot of things, though.The basket is really well coated in silicon. I couldn't find any sharp edges.

I'm pretty disappointed in this basket. The size and materials are perfect. However, I assumed the way to mount the basket would be universal. It is not. Make sure and look closely at the type of handlebars your child's bike has (see photo for product) the basket "hooks" on the handlebars. My daughter's new bike does not have BMX style handlebars and the basket doesn't really fit, without bending the basket and forcing it to sit on the handlebars. Super disappointed.

Oh, this is the cutest little basket I’ve ever seen. I’m amazed by the quality and I love how it fits on any kids’ bike. Definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a basket for their little ones. (I usually add pictures to my reviews, but I just got so excited about the basket that I couldn’t wait to take a picture and went straight to writing the review.)
