Little Tikes Cozy Coupe 30th Anniversary Car

We bought this Little Tikes Cozy Coupe for our grandson, and it was an instant hit! He loves climbing in and pretending to drive around the yard and driveway. It’s the perfect size for toddlers, and the bright colors make it fun and inviting.Assembly took a little time, but once it was together, it felt sturdy and well made. The wheels roll smoothly, and the durable plastic seems like it will hold up for years of play, even outdoors.This is one of those classic toys that keeps kids entertained while encouraging active, imaginative play. It’s easy to see why it’s been a favorite for so many years. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and durable ride-on toy for a toddler.

We purchased this for my nephew’s first birthday and it was such a fun gift! The classic design is adorable and he absolutely loves it. It feels sturdy and is the perfect size for little ones.One thing I would definitely recommend is watching the assembly video before putting it together. The printed instructions are only in black and white, and several of the pieces look very similar, which made assembly more confusing than expected. It’s probably easier if your husband actually looks at the full instructions instead of only half of them. 😂Once assembled though, it’s absolutely worth it and makes such a cute gift!

I figured my nephew would like this toy too, after having a similar one as a kid. He got a electric atv for his 1 year birthday a couple months ago but I think he's not ready for the big boy toys just yet. The Cozy Coupe will be a great intermediate for the little guy until he's got the hand-eye coordination thing down to play on the electric atv.Let me just start out by saying this toy took a lot more assembly than I thought it would! I had to bust out a screwdriver and even a hammer (both required). The hammer was for hammering down the wheels so try not to work around your little one if you want it to be a surprise. I learned that the hard way and the nephew came to see what was up, saw the new toy and thought I was breaking it :( Don't be afraid to really hammer in those wheel end-caps because I feel if they come loose, goodbye wheel, hello hospital.Also, be very very sure to follow the instructions. ESPECIALLY following in order the assembly of the yellow canopy pieces. I also learned this the hard way and attached the yellow posts in the wrong order. If you don't you'll have a extremely hard time inserting any of the other yellow posts. Some of the pieces require inserting them in a certain way and then twisting them to get it locked in place. If you do some things out of order, you may end up not being able to pull the piece back out without some serious muscle.In the end, we ended up with a pretty good toy. My nephew loved the Cozy Coupe's face, especially its eyes. He's learning to get in and out of the toy by himself but its hilarious to see him climbing out the passenger side window, where there is no door. I'm just concerned that the toy may tip over if he gets big enough. I don't necessarily want to test this out but it's a concern of mine. The actual door is nice in that you can have it have it latched shut or permanently closed with a screw. The floorboard is nice too when your kid wants to be lazy and let you do all the pushing work!All in all, great toy, great value. This should last years after and bring your child endless entertainment.

I bought this as my contribution to a “Christmas angel” submission, so I hope the young child that received it enjoys it. I never opened the box, but the quality of boxing was very good, which indicates to me that likely the product meets its specifications.

Got this Cozy Coupe ride-on toy for our 10 months-old baby-girl. We use it indoors so far, for it is all muddy and wet outside since we got it in November...The assembly is the main gripes for me: Overall the instructions are pretty accurate, except for some minor discrepancies, but the main issue is the wheels and front-wheel mount vertical axle fastening cap nuts (read the warning below)!!!Only one thing stood out as not matching the assembly instructions: the mounting of the C-pillars(rear-most yellow panels holding the roof).. In the instructions it was shown that one just snaps them in into the sockets on the body of the car, but in reality, in the actual product, there are two long red plastic screws that need to be screwed, or rather, snapped in from both sides to hold the C-pillars in place from the bottom, and they do not align quite well too...!!! WARNING !!!: When mounting the front-wheel axles onto the car BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO MIX-UP the LEFT and RIGHT vertical axles!!! There are NO labels on the axles themselves; only an illustration in the assembly instructions of what is SUPPOSED to be left and right... Notice that both the vertical axles look very similar, even if you mix them up, it is not apparent prima facie that they were, indeed, mixed-up… So, as kind of expected from a layman, I have mounted the front axles incorrectly-- mounted left and right swapped, since there were no labels on the axles, again (and I was in a hurry to finish the assembly)... Tearing the cap nuts out to swap the front-wheels back was quite an ordeal (a tip if it ever comes to that: push in the small notches on the metallic underlining of the capnut; this deforms the nut and then pry it out carefully with pliers), let me tell you that! I have scratched and damaged the front-wheel axle sockets on the upper body of the car in the process... Good thing that Little Tikes provides two spare wing-nuts, so I used them after I finally tore out the front-axle ones (as if they are almost anticipating for that to happen :-)) )... Anyways, now it is fine... My baby-daughter loves it; She sits in it, and I push her around the house...Another gotcha is the capnuts plastic tophat dummy tools (a cone shaped plastic dummy thing used to hammer in the screws and other plastic components—in order to not to damage the plastic itself); there are two of them—both have different size and color; The tall one is white, and the shorter tophat dummy tool is brown… The trick for me was that I first thought that these plastic tophat dummies are actual parts too, since the tall one was inserted into the steering wheel shaft opening, and I thought it had something to do with the steering wheel assembly itself…And an another small complaint is the sound of the horn: it is very "cheesy"; sound like some kind of a squeeze rubber toy, rather than producing a true honk... Another gotcha is placing the decals on the plastic: Be very careful with gauge decals around the steering wheel; it is easy to misalign or misplace them...Overall, it is not a bad product; I like it after all said and done…

Confermo la sensazione a distanza di qualche mese.- Mi è arrivato in una scatola non amazon ma in quella del produttore.- Ad ogni modo la consegna è stata precisa e impeccabile.Materiali e struttura:================- La macchina è costruita in plastica dura e una volta assemblata è davvero robusta- La porta laterale a sinistra è l'unica che si apre per permettere al bambino di salire in macchina. La porta ha una funzione di blocco che può essere o meno attivata.- lo sterzo gira ma non è in alcun modo collegato alle ruote.- C'è un tasto di avvio con una chiave in plastica che girando fa rumore.- Ci sono due slot sul retro della vettura adatti a contenere piccoli oggetti, bottigliette d'acqua, biberon.- I "pneumatici" sono fatti di plastica e anche se credo che sopravviveranno se vengono usato su una marciapiede, penso che siano più adatte al chiuso su superfici lisce.- C'è un tappo del serbatoio che si apre e si chiude.- La vettura è dotata di una padana amovibile sul fondo. Può essere messa e tolta a seconda delle esigenze, se il bimbo preferisce essere spinto o vuole spingersi da solo con i piedi.Montaggio:========- Con mia sorpresa il montaggio si è rivelato abbastanza semplice e senza grossi problemi.- La cosa principale da tenere a mente quando si assembla la macchina è quella di avere un sacco di tempo a disposizione e avere tutti gli strumenti giusti. Ovviamente leggere attentamente e pazientemente le istruzioni non fa male. Ci vuole un po' di predisposizione per il fai da te altrimenti chiedi pure aiuto.- Anche se la documentazione del prodotto raccomanda 2 persone per il montaggio, mi ci sono voluti circa 1 ora e 35 minuti per assemblare la macchina dall'inizio alla fine, compreso il montaggio degli adesivi.- Potresti aver bisogno di utilizzare un trapano e un martello durante il montaggio.- Procurati anche qualcosa di morbido (una vecchia coperta o l'imballo in cartone del prodotto) che possa in qualche modo assorbire i colpi di martello.- Assicurati di avere un bel po' spazio intorno durante la fase di montaggio.- E per favore cerca di montare il tutto in assenza di bimbi intorno: uno per evitare che si facciano male o mettano in bocca piccoli pezzi e due per la tua sanità mentale.Conclusione:=========- Insomma, mio figlio ama assolutamente la macchina e gli piace un sacco. My children played with theirs forever, and now our grandson has one of his own. The "handle" in the back allows him to push it along when he doesn't feel like driving. It's truly hard to tell which he enjoys more. Same great car that it was 30 years ago!

A perfect toy for the summer. My son is one and he loves to be pushed in this car. In fact all the neighbor kids do, even those who are far to big to use it. It’s super durable, easy to clean. The only negatives are that the steering wheel actually doesn’t steer the car and that it makes kind of a lot of noise on paved ground. Otherwise super!
