Great for 2 players. I am in my 60's and wanted to find a game my son and I could play when he visited. (He is in his 30's). This game was very easy learn and didn't take up a lot of time - about 30 minutes to an hour. We had a lot of laughs and made memories. The game is in a small box, little bigger then a deck of cards, so it is easy to store. And you can play up to 6 people. Good Times.

Golfing Dead has creative elements that will make every game different. The goal of the game is to have the least number of points, but there is also player interaction because of the fun action cards that let you mess with other players. At the start of the game you will place 9 cards face down in front of you in a 3 by 3 grid. Every turn you may replace a card from the deck with one of the face down cards. After exchanging a card you can play an action card that will either benefit you or hurt another player. This is what really makes the game fun. I also enjoyed how if you get 3 cards in a row of the -10 cards, then you add points to your opponent's score. In my opinion I think it would work better if each player started with no cards in front of them and they built their grid as they played the game. Each player could even build a different pattern kind of like they were playing carcassonne. There is a lot of luck involved in what players have as their starting cards. It does help that you play the game in 2 rounds. However the game is very new and innovative. The theme and artwork is fun. I've never seen a game like it.

This is a fun family card game that we have really enjoyed. It is a variation of the card game golf that I grew up playing and have really enjoyed. This offers more game play and some player interaction. Depending on the crowd, we will play without the action cards that allow you to really mess with your opponents. They can be very necessary and great thematic addition to the game. It plays great at all player counts and the fact that it can play 2 and up to 6 is a huge bonus. I would highly recommend this game to families and gamers alike.
