Needed small amount of work but looks good.
Great - I filed some edges down like others have done. I also closed up the hole in the top as herons could root around in it. Thus, only reason for the 4 stars. Very expensive too IMO but it looks good and I wanted it so I can't complain about that !

FISH LOVE IT!
I really LOVE this product and so do my Koi and goldfish. Although expensive, this item will provide safety and refuge from most predators, particularly Blue Herons. The critters also enjoy the shade provided and enjoy darting to and from the cave. Although expensive this cavern is an excellent addition to any pond lover. It also is well constructed and appears realistic within the pool. Recommended!

Cette décoration et abris pour poissons dans un étant ou bassin d'eau est un excellent choix, bien fait et avec une belle apparence convient parfaitement, simplement déposer sur le fond aucunement besoin d'être lesté. Le seul bémol, un peu dispendieux

Perfect fit
This is so cute and the Koi and goldfish love it! It took them about an hour or so of curiosity before they all went in. Now they are zipping in and out of the side holes too. It was very light and I thought we would have to weigh it down. When it’s placed in the water it fills with water and sinks (like a little ballast tank). We have to buy another one because when our big orange koi goes in the others don’t really fit. The raccoons can not reach their little paws in so the fish are safe. (Above ground pond created in a 300 gallon stock tank with drain from tractor supply)
