Excellent value!! Awesome performance
Hello i bought the 21pitch 4 blade and it is of excellent quality...I have a sea ray 220 with a 7.4 and Bravo 1... The boat came with a 21 pitch mirage 3 blade and performed well... Or so I thought... I wanted to try a 4 blade and this was the cheapest way to experiment... My boat now gets on plane quicker, handles better, Slightly better on fuel, and I went from 48 to 52mph... I am very pleased with their product and might even buy a stainless 4 blade from turning point... A lot of boaters don't like aluminum props but I have to say for the money and performance you can't beat it. The waters i boat on vary from Lake Michigan to shallow rivers and lakes... And if you wreck this prop it's only 90 beans for a new one... I would cry if I wrecked a 400-600 prop!!... So I Highly recommend !!!Update: I destroyed the 21 pitch on a rock so I tried a 19 pitch this time. Still an awesome value!! Try one

Not bad for the money
I purchased the 14x21 4 blade to replace an original 14.5x21 3 blade merc prop on my 19' Sea Ray w/4.3 liter I/O. First off, the reason for a new prop...the old prop was a little worn on the edges from sand and other strikes I suppose, being this boat is new to me, and I felt there was a little more vibration when cruising than I like. I have to say the boat was propped right. It would jump out of the hole and plane in no time, and top speed was 48 at 4800 RPM. As the Turning Point site recommended, I stuck with the same size/pitch. I sacrificed a bit of diameter, and with a more aggressive prop, I figured the hole shot would be the same, maybe better, and maybe a touch more top end.Well, took it out today, and there is quite a difference....right off the dock the boat handles better. Less left to right swaying at low speed. Just center the wheel and let it go. Nice.Hole shot....well, not much difference if any. Though mine already had good hole shot so no deal breakers there.Vibration.....what vibration??? Much better. Very smooth running prop. I guess control and vibration are why a lot of people choose a 4 blade, and I can see why.Handling...well, my old prop handled great, and this one is no different. I can crank it hard and no cavitation, no slipping, just turns.Speed....hehehe....well, I was a little concerned at first. My old prop accelerated great and topped out at 48, plenty for a 19' bowrider. So I drop the hammer and it takes off....a bit...and what's the deal???? we're only just past 40??? I should say, with the old prop, I could run 44/45 with the trim all the way down, and up a quarter, came the last couple MPH's. This new prop does not like the trim down. Brought it up a quarter, and wow..that's better, up some more, and there it is 48/49 verified by GPS. Now we're talking nearly all the way trimmed up, as in as far as you take the motor with the thumb switch, not the trailer switch. So I played around for a quarter tank or so, and honestly, this boat came out of the hole and planed just as well even starting off with the trim up almost a quarter. Also, cruising speed dropped a bit too. Before she was more comfortable around 3000 and 27/28 MPH, now she is fine with 2700/2800 at 24. Which for mileage could be a plus.Finish on the prop looks pretty good/durable. Build looks as thick as the old one at the base, with thinner blades.Overall I am pretty happy with it. Was a breeze to put on, maybe 15 minutes, and that's with my old prop sticking a bit and requiring a little talking to. SO...switching to a 4 blade smoothed out the vibrations, and may give me a little better economy at cruise, and I didn't sacrifice any hole shot or top end. Think I'll stick with it for a while.

Great, low cost investment, you have nothing to lose!
Hey guys, this review is for this propeller on my mariah 2000 5.0efi 202z.I just wanted to pass along some knowledge about my prop choice. After reading a lot of reviews I decided to do some experimentation. The original blade was a 21p 14.25 inch prop, and I always found that my RPMs were much higher and slipping especially off the line. Also at Wot RPMs would be over 5500 RPMs and if I trimmed up higher they would even go higher. So I knew something was wrong. Because I could not get a good general consensus on proper size, I decide to do a cheap experiment and bought $120 prop from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/Turning-Point-Propellers-Aluminum-Propeller/dp/B003N73JGO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411915566&sr=8-1&keywords=Boat+propThis is a four blade prop same hitch with a slightly smaller diameter of 14 inch. I could not have imagined better results. My TopSpeed before was 51 miles an hour, it is now 55 and the RPMs at that speed are exactly 4600 to 4700. Also off the line it does not power rise as much when pulling Skiers. I'm going to see how next season does and I may not even put in trim tabs as I was planning on doing because of the high about rise that I was experiencing with the old prop. So in closing I just wanted to say that I am very impressed with the quality of this prop and feel that it is a good investment and has shown excellent results.

WOW what a great PROP
I purchased this prop as exchange for my 14X23 three blade for my Bayliner Capri 19FT 190 HP V6 inboard, and wow what a big difference in the positive sence. Its like a different boat, faster plane and more steady plane also on lower speeds. Then turning is much better and the pulling is great. The adults and kids can stay so much longer on the knee-board.The lower pitch choice I made from from 23 to 21 was a good choice. Always lower the pitch when going from 3 to 4 blade by the way. 1 to 2 pitch. The RPM are slightly higher so the engine is working better on its torque / RPM curve. The only thing now is I use more gas per day since everybody has so much more fun on the towables. :-)Love it even if your prop is still 3 blade go for this one with 4 blades.I know you can get better props with 4 blades of stainless steel, but then you pay way more for very small difference if you would ever notice, but when a stainless steel blade hits a tree trunk or other hard object the impact will most likely damage your costly drive, with aluminum the blade will break, which is way less costly.
