VVAY Triple Jet Flame Lighter Windproof Butane Gas Refillable Turbo Torch Lighter (Sold Without Gas)

The lighter arrived well-packaged in an attractive looking box, with a special little screwdriver to adjust the triple jet flame intensity. It has a solid weight and premium feel to it, the lighting action is smooth, with a strong and steady jet to allow for careful and even toasting of the foot of the cigar. Given the triple jets, lighting should be easy to do in even the most windy outdoor conditions. When you have finished lighting your smoke, you just release the switch, the gas stops and the lid automatically retracts back down to cover the jets. There is a small window on the jet side of the lighter that allows you to see just how much fuel is left so you won't be caught short, and a punch cutter is handily integrated into the base of the lighter for those that prefer to cut their cigars that way. One tiny negative was that the lighter I received had some feint marks on the gold plating on its lid, as another reviewer mentioned. It is just about noticeable in certain lights, and doesn't detract overall, but though it worth mentioning. Overall this is a very smart and sophisticated lighter and absolutely looks worth more than its low price tag. It sits very comfortably in my hand and isn't so bulky as to ruin the line of a jacket, or take up too much room in a handbag for that matter.

Lighter review. This is the second lighter I have had from this company. I was so impressed with the first one I decided to buy a another one. The quality of the build is exceptional. I love the sleek design of the colour scheme of red and bronze perfectly complements the design. The three gas burner is extremely efficient and is easy to adjust via the bottom hinge. In this day of disposable lighters it’s a pleasure to own such a elegant and practical piece of equipment. I love the way it sits in the hand. It feels like a quality product, powerful, Compact, and just a really useful thing to have lying around. I like the way you can adjust the flame by turning the base plate underneath the lighter. The powerful jets make lighting candles so easy. In conclusion I cannot recommend this product highly enough. It’s great value for money.

Solid build which is perhaps why this lighter appears on the heavy side. Acceptable size with a non-slip grip marks it out. Strong flame, not able to assess gas capacity as yet. As for value for money, which is entirely subjective of course, I would have to say yes, but would have scored higher if the price was a little bit lower. Overall, a good lighter.

Having had this as my mainstay lighter for the last couple of months... I can say it has never let me down yet. I got it mainly for the style and colour but it takes and retains gas well and strong great triple flame everytime. Eats up the gas relatively quickly but not too much. It has never run out on me yet but I have been drip feeding top ups into it maybe 3 or 4 times a week from a can. I wouldn't trust it beyond 3 or 4 days with no refill unless you have a back up lighter stashed in your bag. Cracking lighter though. Well worth it.

I purchased a lighter from this company a few years ago. It was the first jet lighter I used that actually worked time and time again after refill; whilst also upholding the same standards with age. The lighter is easy to refill, especially as you have the tank glass so you can always see when a refill is due. The material it is made of, provides a great grip as well as good aesthetics. Great product, great brand. UPDATE: almost a year later, still works! I won’t say perfectly as it has been refilled a ridiculous amount of times, so the valve is slowly going. But definitely the longest lasting Jet Lighter I have had by far.

My husband decided to treat himself to a new lighter after getting fed up of cheap refillable ones being more and more unreliable. This sturdy not unattractive black and gold coloured lighter arrived nicely packaged in a good quality box. It has a cigar cutter that that flips out at the bottom, also at the bottom are the flame adjustment screw and the gas refill. You click down the down the gold switch at the side and the top flips up and a three pronged blue flame comes up. The lighter is very easy to use and windproof. It is a little bigger and heavier than the lighters my husband had been using but it fits in his had better to use and he is very pleased that he paid a bit more for a surprisingly good lighter.

I bought this lighter to replace my wonderful old Ronson Fieldmaster that I have used for many years. The Ronson needs a new valve because it only holds its gas for a day or so - an easy and cheap fix, but that requires the lighter to be sent away for a few days. This vvay lighter is nice to hold and look at and worked beautifully for about 50 goes and then would work only occasionally for two days, and then stopped working altogether. I do not know who vvay are, but the lighter is a complete waste of money and Amazon should be ashamed of selling rubbish like this. Approximately 25p per light is daylight robbery. Avoid!

I was really nicely surprised after receiving this VVAY lighter. It came in an elegant box, with a special mini screwdriver for the gas valve, and a manual. Lighter feel good in the hand. There is a certain weight to it, which is a rather nice feeling (79g- filled with gas, on my scales). Nothing doesn't knock or rattle. Feels solid in hand. After refuelling, I have noticed that the valve seal seems to be really good quality, as there is no gas leak at all (usually with other lighters, right after refuelling, there is a few second period, where valve seal is cold and gas leaks a bit). Waited five minutes to even the gas pressure in the device (as per manual) and clicked the ignition button. Lightened-up after first "click"! All three jets are burning evenly. So far, after a day of use, I can say it's working very well. In fact, better the latest original Zippo products. Bought recently Zippo jet and Zippo plasma lighters. Had to send them both back. Plasma was igniting only once in three clicks, and jet one was working for one second after igniting and then the flame was going off. Looks from my experience, that Chinese company VVAY not only caught up with famous US brand, but also exceeded in quality of their products. Well done and keep up the good job VVAY! Just want to say, that I have paid for this product with my own money and no one paid me to write this review (which I don't do too often). That's how impressed I am so far with this VVAY Triple Jet Flame Lighter! Update 29/10/21: I have run this lighter through its paces over the last few months and here is what I have learned: 1. Built-in gas tank got two chambers. I am never able to fill them both in, so technically lighter hols only half of the gas it should resulting in shorter work time between refillings. 2. Flame adjustment screw is made of soft plastic that is chipping easily. I would like to see here some metal part instead. 3. One day, the cigar punch bit opened in my packet. Got caught on trousers material when I was taking lighter out. Little spring under cigar punch got displaced and punch doesn't close properly since then. 4. Main lighter mechanism, both body parts plus cigar punch, spring and so on, are all held by tiny, approximately 5mm long screw. Due to vibrations caused by few drops and knocks, little screw got loose resulting in the whole lighter "rattling" a bit and feeling like all parts become loose. Saying all of that I have to mention that I am very impressed with the ignition of this lighter. Lights up nearly every time with the first click. All 3 jests are burning evenly without flickering (it's a massive gas muncher). My initial review was very positive, but after giving this lighter a "good use", I am forced to write this update and remove 2 stars from my initial feedback. Does anyone know how to contact VVAY? I would hope for a fix, or replacement if possible.
