Fit is true to size. YXL size is 27-28inch waist. 27" is unstretched and 28" is when stretched (elastic waist band).The material is thicker than some other pants but not too heavy - it will hold up with regular sliding.The leg length is long, and I love the little velcro tab inside the cuff that allows you to quickly and easily alter the length to suit your player - nice innovation.

Fits great. It gets hot where we live. The non elastic bottom helps with air flow and comfort.

This is not your regular kids baseball pant; these pants are of higher quality compared to the regular $20 +/- pants. Made with thicker more durable material. My son (13 y/o now) has been wearing them for 3 weeks (3 times per week) and sliding with no issues, regular wear. The internal waist rubberized material is high quality and help the pant hold on (even player as catcher). They look better as well. This pants will undoubtedly last longer than regular pants.

Bought my son a size XL and it fit perfectly. Will buy more.

These pants run small. Size up. My son wears a size large 14-16. The large fit like a medium. Ordered an XL. Fits perfectly.
