Using this with an Intel B150 motherboard from 2017 in a PCIe X1 slot. I plan on rebuilding the whole system eventually, but with prices where they are right now in 2022, the only thing I needed right away was to expand storage. And I wanted to go with an NVMe SSD that I could easily reuse with a future system.Duplication from the existing SATA SSD (via Paragon Hard Disk Manager) to the Samsung NVMe worked perfectly. Unplugging the SATA SSD and rebooting with the NVMe also worked without tweaks to the BIOS, something I thought I would have to dig around in to find and set correctly. This is with UEFI secure boot on, too.Transfer speed is nowhere near what you would get from a standard NVMe port, but still faster than SATA (and again, this is only an X1 adapter). My only complaint now is the lack of a drive access light, which only works via SATA with my current motherboard. There is probably a way to manually wire this up, but I have yet to invest the time to figure it out.Overall I couldn't be happier with a $10 device that can seriously extend the life of my current system.

Straightforward to install. No problems with the card. Windows threw a fit with the 960EVO being in a different spot but that's a problem with Windows.
