I was sick of all the other drains I’ve purchased through the years and decided to peruse Amazon for a really good one. I opened it up, popped it in, ran the water, draining, plugging, and easy to remove the strainer, just as advertised. I couldn’t be happier!! I have a garbage disposal and with this unit including the rubber flaps, I will remove the original nasty old yucky flaps! Yay! Cause with this unit I can remove and clean the whole thing, including the flaps. Go ahead, feel confident in this purchase!!

This was the best exchange for our old one. It fits snug into place and easy to pull out the drain plug. It’s easy to clean and works perfectly! It so worth it!

I have a Blanco sink and the OEM stopper doesn't work well at all. It would slip so far down into the drain opening that I'd have to get a spoon to pry it out! I bought this insert, and it works perfectly. I leave it in the sink all the time and it drains very well. If I need to fill the sink with water, I push it down and it seals perfectly. Any time I want to remove it so I can sweep food into the Insinkerator, it pops right out. And it only costs 20% of what the OEM stopper costs. I've had no problems with it since I bought it over 6 months ago. It's held up well and still looks new. The color matches my Blanco silgranite black sink perfectly. But at this price, if I ever do need to replace it, no problem!

This drain cover was extremely easy to install and looks fabulous. I can’t stress how much nicer my sink looks having this cover the original one where the coating was starting to peel off. The only downfall (and the reason for only 4 stars) is since it sits up just slightly higher on top of the other drain, the water does not totally drain out and leaves a puddle around it. I’m a little worried with leaving water constantly that mildew will build up so I try to make a habit of drying the sink out a few times a day. It seems like it would be great if they could come up with having some little ridges or something cut in it for the water to drain through and out of the sink. Other than that, I absolutely love it.

I have a black granite composite double sink with black drain and garbage disposal flanges. The drain flange is fine since it was made of a material that doesn’t peel but the disposal flange was a powder coated metal that started peeling shortly after being installed and was unsightly. In my search to find a replacement that wouldn’t peel I found this and was delighted at how easy it was to install. Nothing has to be removed since it isn’t a replacement but it completely covers the old flange and looks great. It comes with the strainer/stopper so no need for the disposal stopper that so many lose or discard. The only undesirable thing about it is since it fits over the old flange it has a small edge that keeps a small amount of water from completely draining which may not bother others but it does me. The solution was just lift it up long enough for excess water to drain then wipe down. The design to cover the ugly peeling flange far outweighs lifting and/or wiping to drain the small excess of water. I have to wipe down the other side as well, which isn’t a cover and isn’t made to just pull out to keep the water from forming a stain on the sink. I recommend it for anyone who has a problem with the disposal flange peeling.

Loved it until it broke in 6 months and now I don't know if there are pieces in my drain and I'm afraid to use my disposal in case they're metal.

I love this strainer. It is sturdy and works differently from all the others we have tried. They are a bit pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. Definitely worth it.
