1 year review - worth reading!
So it’s taken me a while to write this review (despite the numerous prompts from Amazon) and this is mainly because I’ve gone through so many wireless headphones I really wanted to be SURE before writing this review . So here goes… Reason for purchase: Gym, and mainly running on the thread mill. Value for money: Good - considering build quality and lack of issues (to be specific I’ve had NONE thus far) , overall sound quality and reason for purchase - I’d say this was a sound investment, and cost effective. Durability: Really good. In your ears they’re light enough not to cause a nuisance, but heavy enough to know that if one (did) fall out your ear, you’d know about it. Battery life: I’m usually at the gym for about 1.5 hours, I think my longest run at the gym was 2hrs before I got the first prompt of “battery low”. (And that’s at playing music at a relatively high volume (I’d say typically at 85-90%) Some people may think 1.5-2hrs is not enough, but I only purchased these for gym use and not for phone calls, or long journeys outside; so as a result, it IS fit for purpose, and does me just fine. I usually keep them in the car and charge when not in use. I believe they auto switch off once fully charged. So far these wireless headphones have been durable, work all the time (I’ve had no issues with one side working and the other not), the case they charge in is fine - (be sure to see both charging lights light up before tucking away) and leaving to charge. The size adaptors fitted perfectly, I think they offer a couple of extra sizes in there if needed but I used the ones that were fitted on upon box opening and I’ve not felt the need to change them. Noise cancelling: I’m happy with the lack of outside noise, in fact I’d say I don’t notice any noise at all when at the gym and have them on. I’m often surprised when taking them out to talk to a (gym bro) about how loud the gym actually is, you literally zone out and only hear what you’re playing. Charging case: durable, does what it needs to do. Unfortunately there’s no written LED indicator determining what percentage of charge each earbud has, but there are a few LED lights on the charger that light up in 25% increments so you can have a good gage as to how much power is in them (both). Phone calls: I’ve only had a few phone calls and to be honest I had no issues, they were of course short (as I was at the gym) but the call was clear and the caller could hear me just fine. Button control: I know some of the fancier ones have touch controls which require a swipe or light tap to perform certain functions such as raising volume or answering calls. In truth I’ve owned a few like that and they are a nightmare (imo), they often skip unannounced, or are an even worse nightmare if you’re wearing a hood or cap, both of which can trigger a function command. I’ve also noted that sweat can also often affect touch control earbuds too - which has been extremely annoying when running. I say all of that to say this - with these the function changes require an actual click and physical push of the buttons on the earbuds, which I welcome as every action is therefore intentional and keeps things rudimentary but also simple - thereby allowing me to continue with my workout without the constant need rewind a track that has skipped inadvertently or having to re-raise the volume as it started reducing for no apparent reason. Obviously all controls can also be done directly via your phone as well. All in all - for the price paid, these are a worthwhile and sturdy investment. I don’t need the headphones to make or receive calls, but if necessary they have worked fine for short calls (which to all intense and purpose have taken place in a busy and noisy gym) Summary: Functional, fit for purpose for serious gym goers’ who don’t have time to keep stopping and starting because of fiddly touch earbuds. When having to work a 9-5 and fit gym sessions in the evening, then having to go back to your family, you learn quickly that EVERY MINUTE counts! AND YES - I’m sure there are higher priced “branded” earbuds which could provide the same “pro’s” however they likely will cost 3-4x more than these, and I’m guessing the reason we’re all on Amazon is bc we are trying to find good value for money without having to go “top-end”, and it is for this reason I have taken the time to wait and comprehensively USE the item before writing this review. Hope it works for you as it has for me! Happy shopping!

Amazing! Fantastic Sound Quality - Bargain Price! - Purchased 3 Times
I ordered these earbuds as well as the TOZO T10 earbuds during Amazon’s Prime Discount days in July 2023 The TOZO T10’s are very good….. however these Soundcore by Anker A1 earbuds are in another league! I own, and use very often, Apple AirPod Pro’s, which cost about £250, but I needed a cheaper set of earbuds to use on my motorcycle for spoken prompts from my TomTom Rider 550 gps These Anker A1’s were priced about £5 more than the TOZO T10’s during Amazon Prime Day but they are definitely worth the little extra expense. I found the TOZO T10’s much more difficult to operate and their sound quality was just not on par with these Anker A1’s Honestly I prefer these Soundcore Anker A1’s to the Apple Air Pods. I know that sounds crazy considering the price difference but believe me these are very very good quality. I can’t quite believe it myself! They paired up to my iPhone instantly with absolutely no issues. They also paired instantly to my TomTom Rider 550… no issues whatsoever They are supplied with a number of different size ‘wings’ as well as different sized rubber earpieces so getting the exact fit is easy They stay put in your ears and are extremely comfortable in use. They will not budge once you get the correct fitting They have a proper push button to cycle through the various options from volume control to skipping tracks etc which works so much better than the TOZO’s touch control They have a simply amazing sound quality. And considering their price they represent incredible value for money. They are also extremely simple to operate, very intuitive to use and they just work and work very well indeed If you can afford the TOZO T10’s then I’m sure you will be happy with them….However if you can push it to these Anker A1 earbuds you will be amazed by their quality sound and ease of use Please just buy these as I know you will love them Very highly recommended. You simply can’t go wrong! UPDATE: Today, 31st July 2023, these are on offer for £26.99…. That’s exactly what I paid on the Amazon Prime Day a few days ago…. Just buy them now while they are on offer, you won’t regret it!! UPDATE 2: My Apple Air Pod Pro’s have developed a fault; the sound is now very distorted. There is no way I’m paying another £250’odd to buy a replacement So I’ve just ordered another set of these amazing Anker A1 earbuds I just wanted earbuds that are reliable to use when listening to audio books I knew I could purchase some earbuds under £15 but as I’m so used to the quality of the sound of these A1’s I just ordered another pair I received them today and immediately paired them to my iPhone The quality of the A1’s on audio books is amazing I can honestly say, yet again, these are fantastic earbuds; this is my third pair! Just buy them as I know you won’t be disappointed with them

Gracias.

I’ve had these headphones for over 6 months now and they still perform as if they were brand new. The battery life on these are insane! I use these nearly everyday, and I only need to charge the case overnight about once every two weeks. They offer a huge amount of bass and volume, they fit in my ears perfectly, and they never fall out of my ears or get loose with the standard fit. There is no active noise cancellation, but that isn’t expected for earbuds at this price. The seal does a good enough job for me. My only small complaint for these headphones are the sound profiles. You can triple-click an earbud to change it’s sound profile, but there is no indicator to know which profile you switch to. Other than that, these are hands down the best wireless earbuds at this price. Great job Anker!! Edit - Almost 1 year later (about 11 months) the left earbud completely died out of nowhere. I was listening to music when I noticed the left earbud lost volume completely. I thought it may have died so I charged it, didn’t work. I tried resetting the earbuds based on the manual, also didn’t work. Then I found on youtube that the left earbud suddenly not working is a common issue in Anker’s Soundcore earbud lineup. I hope to get this fixed through customer support! Edit #2: Anker sent me another pair in about a week free of charge, since these earbuds have an 18 month warranty. The new earbuds work perfectly. Amazing customer support thank you Anker :)

Lost my right earbud due to an accident on my ebike so decided to get this one which is really awesome. Lightweight and fit snuggly inside my ear without fearing it might fall off under any circumstances. The only downside to it is the volume. I like it loud while riding my ebike but when I put the volume up to max it didn't really satisfy me so I had to install a booster app to crank it up a little bit. Problem solved but am not sure if this will damage the earbud in the long run.
