Rubbermaid2523 Rolling Step Stool, Black

Ive had one of these for years. I've always loved it. So much better than a small step ladder. My new daughter-in-law said she'd love to have one. So I bought it for her for Christmas. She loves it as does my 3 year old grandson. He loves helping Mom.

These Rubbermaid step stools are widely used in many commercial locations. They are extremely hard to find for purchase. Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, etc use them in their stores for their employees, but try and find one for purchase--they don't stock them. This one is used in our kitchen with a ceramic tile floor--it works very well and doesn't slip or slide when you put wieght on it.

Very unhappy with this; Rubermaid usually delivers but not on this step stool. I've had it about a year. First, it split in the middle then, one of the caster legs broke off. It didn't roll very well anyway. A poor substitute for the old fashioned kick stool from the library.

Great idea, but I feel a little unsteady on this step stool. It's also rather large and is cumbersome. I find myself picking it up to move it around, which is not what I bought it for lol.

Functionally, the product works as advertised. However, for the price, the quality and finish of the material did not live up to expectations. Specifically, I am using the stool on carpet so I need to pick it up to move it around. When I pick it up by the opening the edges of the material are very ragged and cut into your hands.

I can't say enough about this rolling step stool. It's safe and easy to use. It's great to reach up into high shelves or to sit on to do low to the floor work.

A small pied a terrre kitchen, all the shelves a bit too high. This step stool fits the bill perfectly.

Works great. Easy to move around.
