Great product
I love this body wash.

Not the strongest smell, but cake batter isn't fragrant itself
I bought this shower gel as a birthday treat to myself. I mainly only used this as a shower gel daily and a bubble bath twice. For being a shower gel, I felt that it was able to get me really clean without drying out my skin or giving me that weird "tight" feeling after the shower. For use as a bubble bath, the bubbles aren't that plentiful unless you use a lot of product and they dissipate quickly. The smell isn't as fragrant as some other shower gels, but it does smell like cake batter. Cake batter itself isn't the most fragrant thing. You only typically start to smell regular cake batter once it's baking. But if you compare it to a mixing bowl full of cake batter, it's spot-on! However, this won't make you smell like a walking cake. You can enjoy the smell while you are showering, but afterwards you won't really smell it anymore.

Unacceptable product by philosophy
This product had no scent to it, it is either a knock off of the philosophy product or it’s been sitting on the shelf somewhere for a very long time it definitely did not smell like birthday cake and unfortunately it is one day pass the day that I can return it or get a refund, I just opened it today to use it.

Body wash/ shampoo makes you smell delicious all over
This is a great smelling body wash. It makes a good gift too, because it's rather neutral as long as you like the smell of birthday cake. (Some of the other smells they make are good also, like frosting or cinnamon rolls; some are better than others.) It foams up very well, and can be used as a shampoo too! It really does smell fancy, and it might make you hungry for cupcakes.

The best scent!
I think philosophy's vanilla birthday cake bath and shower gel contains one of the best scents that the company produces. It is light yet pleasingly sweet and reminds one of pleasurable baking experiences. Especially around your birthday, it is a must!
