Received faulty board
The one i received was an otherwise okay board but the bios would reset with a checksum error every time the power was disconnected. Typical bios corruption issue. Returned.Ac couple of notes:- EVGA's bios interface is horrible with non intuitive configuration locations. Why reinvent the wheel?- The M2 slot draws from the PCH and not CPU PCIe lanes. I used a hyper quad M2 PCIe nvme adapter card to compare the difference on a 500gb samsung 970 pro nvme (measured with crystaldisk mark) and there is a performance hit (with no other devices connected to the motherboard) but not too bad compared to sata:nvme pcie adapter / onboard M2 (MB/s)Seq1MQ8T1 Read 3618.81 / 3374.97Seq1MQ8T1 Write 2313.26 / 2292.44Seq1MQ1T1 Read 2655.47 / 2469.65Seq1MQ1T1 Write 2308.75 / 2269.46RND4KQ32T1 Read 701.44 / 705.05RND4KQ32T1 Write 626.85/ 640.14RND4KQ1T1 Read 72.46 / 70.73RND4KQ1T1 Write 311.77 / 278.22

Very satisfied customer, using with i9-9900ks 5.3ghz speed binned!
Needed a z390 board with a good enough VRM and power stage delivery to run an Intel 19-9900ks 5.3ghz pre binned stable at 1.35v with an AIO with 240mm rad as a daily runner. On current benchmarks am stable on 5.4ghz with AVX set to zero, whilst not using LN2...The fairly new older board prior to owning this was an entry level strix OC z390-f, though required AV1 to bench tests like cinnebench at 5.3 'all core turbo' and not stable above with multithreading on, though coped at 5.4 multi off 'single threaded'. Hopefully the enthusiasts grade overclockers do not see this as sacrilege for not using for using this as an LN2 setup with a dry ice, custom wc or liquid nitrogen, which this this board was designed for.I have been impressed with the extra features it supports for overclocking and it's efficent 17 phase power stages and the impressive layout. This board was worth the import costs, fed ex handled the delivery well with priority international shipping and thank you Amazon for supplying it, it was hard to find one in europe for sale.

Great OC motherboard
Arrived with a dead bios battery but after I switched it out for a new one, the motherboard has worked perfectly ever since. Would have given it 5 stars if not for the battery.

An extremely stable board.
What I liked about this product the most is that, there is no PLX chip like the sage X299 type boards. The PLX chips on the sage where causing me large headaches, with serious compatibility and driver issues. So I bought the EVGA x299 Dark. Problem sorted.
