Argos 1.75mm PLA (Red) Made in The USA : 3D Printer Filament - 1kg (2.2lbs) Spool - Dimensional Accuracy: +/- 0.05mm

The filament came in well packaged like others and extrudes quite nicely at first but there are some issues I had.Originally I ordered some red filament from Hatchbox but it was going to take ~1-2 months and some people wanted red so I opted for this filament, and I will say that It wasn't up to my standards. One of the biggest issues I had was it clogging/not extruding while printing. Reducing the speed solved this issue somewhat, but even at a relatively low print speed it still sometimes wouldn't extrude. I'm printing with a .32 mm layer height which might be too much for this, it might work better if I used a .2 mm or .1 mm so you're mileage may vary. I would only suggest this filament for people who want draft quality stuff and don't mind taking more care.Pros: Cheap, consistent filament width, fast shippingCons: Doesn't like extruding too fast, cost the same as equivalent but at reduce quality IMO, inconsistent prints (see photo)Photo(s): Same print, same settings, different results

I'm relatively new to 3D printing but out of 3 filaments I purchased, this one had the worst results. I'm not saying that this product is bad, it's not. But it is only OK. It works and I'll keep it for when I run out of other filaments, but it's not of a higher quality. I get a lot of blobs around the edges and inconsistent quality on the bottom layers.

This is the best PLA that I have used in my 3D printer so far, it flows smoothly and leaves a very smooth surface when cooled. I have used about 4 or 5 different types of material before this. I am very happy with this and would recommend to any one. I will buy this again.

This filament is manufactured by a well established plastics product manufacturer/compounder , not your typical back-yard pole barn filament maker. This place knows what they are doing. As such I expected it to be top quality, and it was. This filament prints phenomenally. The color is great , and almost totally opaque. The color is not exactly as pictured (to be expected), but it is a good true red.

I have been printing for a year and this is by far the worst print experience i have had. I always print using hatchbox filinent but they were out of red so i went with this. Horrible decision! Not only is the material crap, but the roll was not wound correctly and caused my printer to get stuck because the filiment roll was stuck. Go buy hatchbox plastic. Its way better! Hatchbox is on the left and sticks together much better, and gives a nice shiny finish.

NOT RED! It's orange and prints matte instead of glossy.

Beautiful red color. The filament is pretty consistent and I'm printing with it very easily. My settings are 210c for the hot end and 50c for the heated bed.

Great quality PLA. Good red color. Has become my go to for red.
