Men's Adult Hoodie

As most stories go, it all started well until it wasn’t anymore. When I first received this hoodie it was GREAT!! Perfect for the winter chill in the mountains. I was a little nervous buying a hoodie without strings for the hood as I have a short haircut and like to have the hood tied for cold windy days walking the dogs. However there is the perfect amount of spandex in the hood that keeps it on fairly well even having an extra small head. After the very first wash, it shrunk up very badly. Another con is the way it rides up and due to the riding, it makes the weird looking bulge in the stomach/chest area. Carrying a concealed weapon (mostly in case a bear or mountain lion comes for me and the dogs on our walk) it is extremely inconvenient to have to keep pulling the hoodie down even when you’re just walking. I would however recommend this hoodie to a shorter female that would like a tighter fit and likes their sweatshirts to ride a little above the belt line. I’m not sure if getting a bigger size would help but I’m going to try a couple different brands before going back to a larger size. Will update if I find anything better to compare it too. I have tried the Hanes heavyweight 90/10 hoodie and it is TERRIBLE, beware. Feels like wearing a cardboard box even after washing multiple times (not to mention the short torso and extremely baggy arms)For reference, I am 5’ 7” 135lbs so torso length in anything really shouldn’t be much of an issue.

In high school I had gotten a black hoodie with "No Fear" on the front of it in small letters (yep, I was cool). Now in my 30s, it was still my favored "relaxing" shirt / baggy hoodie. It was starting to fall apart though, especially on the cuffs. This is the only hoodie I've found that seems to be a suitable replacement.It is thinner (like most clothes these days) but is still warm, even outside with the dogs for a bit when its 20 degrees outside.Main downside is the hood is single layer not double layer. It has the softer fleecy backing on the inside of the hood instead of a second "outside" layer of fabric. Problem there is facial hair/stubble will rip up the fabric, even with the hood down. I try to make sure to shave my neck on days I'm going to wear this so a 1 day stubble doesn't destroy it.

I have bought this type of product before from his manufacture. It is normally a heavier shirt such as the carhartt brand. I was very disappointed. This sweatshirt was more expensive than what I had paid locally for a similar quality. It was labeled 2 XL. And was in actuality, the size of a medium. The only labeling on the whole sweatshirt was the neck tag. There was no other labels no other packaging nothing. These are either factory seconds or blemish. Or it was a returned item. Very disappointed to pay full price.

This is a high quality hoodie that's warm, soft, and gets softer with each wash.If you've never purchased a Gilden, I highly recommend everything. I have Gilden boxer briefs, tighty whities, and a collection of both long sleeved and short sleeved tee shirts. They are incredibly durable, and get softer every time they're washed.

I am mediately took this to a friend of mine who put a really nice picture on it it looks awesome it’s comfortable I was so looking forward to using it this fall!!!

Most ill fitting shirt I've probably ever worn, hood was too small and I bought a large which is what all my hoodies are, and the shirt was up above my hips when I put it on, def not as long as it says in the size guide.

Great quality, very heavy and warm, but because they are 80% cotton, they shrink almost two sizes in the wash.

Is mis-shapened and shrunken after just a couple washes.
