Simple to fit
Bargain compared to VW dealer, simple to fit! Took me 5 mins. It has the blind spot tip as original has on drivers side.

Decent replacement for original
Lost a side mirror due to the commonly reported issue of the glue melting when the heated side mirror function is on. Although this doesn't have the heating strip that the original has, the reflection is the same as the original and suffers with no distortion of image. Easy to fit and hasn't fallen off so far (although I avoid using the heated side mirror function).

Good value for money
I previously had a problem with the right door mirror (it fell off) & because I was along way from home I went to a nearby VW garage who changed me around £60 for a replacement. This item is just as good and less than a quarter of the price, no brainer.

it works
Despite the faff initially of receiving the wrong side and having to return and reorder.. the item works. its easy to install and the heating element works. it's been a few weeks since it was installed and it's held its place.

Perfect for the Mark 7 Golf
Fitted my 16 plate mark 7 Golf GTE perfectly.Replaced the original glass that fell out due to VW's known, but not acknowledged, wing mirror flaw.The glass sticking material is weakened after you use the wing mirror heater for a period of time.Be aware.PS VW wanted to charge me £60 to replace the glass. LOL

Good quality however i ordered a driver side mirror and got a passenger side.
