Fit well saved replacing entire mirror

Great product, stupid end user. Hail left a couple holes in factory original ( Chevy Silverado Z71 4x4 2014). I had a brain pause and tossed damaged top AND BOTTOM out after I ordered this. This is the TOP PART ONLY, and I knew that. Getting bottom replacement is pretty tough, in fact, I still haven’t !This fits, looks just like original, but can’t be used alone. Again my fault not that of top cover ordered

Unfortunately, I went through a car wash and my rear view mirror cap fell off and had to replace it with this 1-minute snap on cap on my 2008 Chevy Avalanche. Yeah!!?

We have a black 07 Tahoe and this was a perfect replacement piece! I used a small flathead screwdriver to pop the old cover off and then put this one on. Total time took 2 mins to find the small screwdriver, 1 min to pry off the old cover and 30 seconds to position the new cover and lock it in to place. My wife thinks I'm incredible! The color is a glossy black. It matched our black paint well! I will not need to have it painted.
