Great strength to diameter
Been using super flouro for years. Great stillwater subsurface leader/tippet material. Umpqua seems to have a higher strength to diameter ratio than most.

Excellent Product
First thing I noticed with this spool was the rubber retainer. It is durable and works better than the elastic band found on many other spools. I have noticed better knot strength with this tippet and have broken off fewer times since switching.

RIO FLOURO BETTER STILL SUPERIOR
I gave the Phantom x Fluorocarbon 5x a shot due to difficulty finding Rio Tippet. The phantom is stiffer, and after landing a few fish the tippet kinks and coils. For most trout applications I think Rio is still far superior

Umpqua vs Rio
I haven't got to try it out yet, I was told by a Pro Guide this was better than the Rio I currently am using. Will leave more once I have tried it.
