Great for cold weather hiking!
I hike a lot in NY, even in the snow. I got tired of feeling weighed down by multiple layers. Sometimes scrambling up a mountainside isn’t so easy with bulky clothes. These pants, the lined version, cut down on most of the bulky layers. So far I’ve only been out in 30-34 degree temps but with just a thin base layer and these pants I felt plenty warm enough for me. Definitely worth the money. I bought the 40 waist with a 32 inseam, typically I wear 38/32 but wanted some wiggle room.

Comfy and warm!
I spent a night outside at an outdoor event wearing these in 30 degree weather and my legs never felt cold or overheated. When I went inside, they didn't make me overheat, either. They're stretchy, so they're easy to move in, and feel as comfy as sweat pants. I got them for hiking in the snow, which I haven't tried yet, but I'll be wearing them around town this winter a lot because they are so comfy and really protect me from the cold.

Nice quality but Short in both seat and inseam
Material quality is very good. They are tight at the thighs if you are a fuller size American. The First Ascent logo on the side pocket is too big and unnecessary. On fit, the waist was great. But these fell short, literally in length. Twice: These pants will sit low on the hips with a very short seat length. The length I ordered was 30” but they barely break against the shoes making them look slightly short, fitting more like 29” inseam. So close to great. But not great.

Fit right, warm, and flexible
I own 3 pair of guide pro pants for the warm months. I tried the lined version and: 1. fits as expected, 2. great flexibility for outdoor activities, 3. warm down to about 20f and water repellant, 4. ample pockets, and 5. look good. I'll buy another pair at the $50 price.

the perfect cold weather pants
The pants fit great and feel great. I bought these pants to play golf in the winter, but I've worn them to work and church too. I have three pair.

Great look, great alone down into the single digits
These have become my go to Winter pants, I work outside And we have a very harsh Winter where I live, lots of sub 0 days. I'm very used to cold Temps and I don't mind the cold, I would wear these without a base layer down to near zero, I've had these with a solid base layer down into the negative 30's and they held up great. Wouldn't recommend these for anything over 40ish degrees. They're warm.

Wasn't expecting this
I definitely wasn't expecting to like these pants anywhere near as much as I do. VERY comfortable, great fitting, and nicely insulated. I would definitely recommend these. I will be ordering another pair or two.

Great Outdoor Pant. Warm.
Very good water resistant pant that is warm. Recently worn while riding my motorcycle in 33° weather at 40-50 mph. Legs not the least bit cold. Good wind resistance. Fits as expected. Highly recommend.
