The chemical odor is absolutely horrific. I haven't even been able to wear it as of yet and it has been airing out for 3 days. I'm going to try to wash it and post and update.UPDATE: Skipped the wash, sent it back for a refund and ordered a good posture bra instead.

This is an excellent product; it works better than I expected.However, there is a Learning Curve, at least for me.I found it difficult to put on - the first week or so.My solution.I place it on a table, inside facing me.I adjust the shoulder straps, proper twist.I pull the straps out fully - the arm holes now look small.I attach 6"-8" strips of Velcrio to the ends of each strap.I had difficulty finding the straps before - the Velcro strips helped.I put it on, adjusting the twists in my armpits.I now easily find the straps and pull the straps ABOVE my nipples, high.If the straps are below my nipples I do not have not length of straps.Above nipples - this device is comfortable and for me it works beautifully.I definitely stand straighter. I am 6'3" and elderly.

This a sturdy posture corrector. It really relieved some of the weight that my chest has been applying to my shoulders. I feel really good after I wear it. It can also go underneath your clothes if you like to wear it discretely.

This upper back brace is very comfortable. It is easy to put on by yourself, it does not ride up your back. I have tried others that are smaller with less support and end up around the back of your neck and uncomfortable.This Upper Back Brace pulls my posture to the correct position. I was having trouble with my right shoulder and wearing this brace according to their instructions has helped my shoulder ALOT! I would highly recommend it. Very light in weight, sometimes I forget I have it on! Price is affordable and right for the quality of this upper back brace. I am only 5 feet tall and can say it fits me perfect since you can "pull" and adjust the straps.

As many are finding, getting old ain't for the weak . . . but unfortunately a bit of a stoop with drooping shoulders seems to be a rather common experience for many of us as we age. With increasing discomfort my wife would see a disappointing image in the mirror and when she saw the comfort and effectiveness of a similar support I bought myself, she was stimulated find her own. She was pleasantly surprised at the ease of putting on the Grispot, the soft, comfortable and effective support it provided hours at a time and, rather than using it as a 'crutch', approaches the process as something of a reminder or retraining of the shoulders. She's sold on it !

The chemical smell of this item is so bad that as I tried to wear it the first day it permeated 2 layers of clothing! I have had it in direct sun and wind for 3 days & the smell is so terrible and strong that neither I or my husband can be anywhere near it. It has to be in the garage and now the garage is starting to smell. Whatever this is made of cannot be healthy for a person if the chemical smell is that potent!! The idea is worthy of trying I just cannot be around the smell which is unfortunate because I dont want anything around my stomach.

I just received the Caretras Posture Corrector and tried it on for the first time last night. It was easy to put on and I wore it for about an hour the first try. It takes a little getting used to, but as the instructions say, start slow and increase the time a little every day. Out of the package, the smell is a little strong, but I am hoping that it will dissipate in time.As I have just received it and only have had it for one night, I will follow up after I have had a little more experience with the posture corrector. So far- so good.

I have been trying a few of those and this is the best one by far. It is the most comfortable because it does not cut circulation under the arm pits. It also does not ride up the back and pull on the neck like other ones I've tried that did not have the strap around the rib cage to keep it down. It is lightweight and easy to put on and off. Overall, a great product, well designed and well priced.
