Bought this as a birthday present for my 4 year old grandson! He loves it and can work out some of that energy! Just the right size!

Despite being a 7+ year veteran in the dad game, I pulled a rookie mistake on this one and forgot to check the age rating.(3+) The price, prime shipping and rating had me sold before I got to those details. I was just searching for gloves and this thing was a deal.If you're a mom reading this, I know, I know. It was reckless. If you're a dad reading this, don't judge. You've been there, or worse, or you will, especially if you're shopping online. Lol.Of course my wife saw the age rating as soon as I took it from the box. She didn't say anything, but she didn't have to, I saw the look. I could feel the sweat on my forehead ad I wondered, "Is this big enough for a 7 year old?, or did I mess up?" It turned out to work very well. It has a very long range of adjustability to grow from 3 up to probably 8, maybe 9.The gloves looked small but fit him perfectly. Which is good as they are too small for me, so I get the sock'em boppers now.He might get a few years out of it, though I wouldn't buy it for a kid much older, as they'd grow out of it quickly.There really are no instructions with this, I mean there is an obligatory piece of paper with some poor pictures but it's pretty simple to figure out and there aren't many parts. I've included pics to help the less mechanically inclined.The base is going to need some sand for stability and I'm curious to see how well that works. As soon as I got it assembled he had the gloves on and knocked the heck out of the thing. Great for burning energy

Just attempting to put this together and Wow crappy instructions and anyone else see something weong with those holes and I don't have a clue where those round metal things go inside the bolt outside the bolt, where!! And fyi says up to 44 in no 40 from the top of the ball to the bottom of the stem, you are loosing 2 1/2 cause the stem has to go in the base and 9 to compensate for the ball (will give them that) so at its tallest you have 33 to 37 1/2 not 44 and thats with the conection being barely in which I don't know yet but more than sure you will need to push if farther in so it won't come apart with a good hit. You better have a small small hands to get in that glove, the sewing on the ball is amature at best. I litterally just got today and I did not tell my Grandson I know better by now when yoi order stuff off line pictures are not worth a thousand words anymore there over blown and you tube videos I have watched these kids are love tapping these balls anyone that has boys or girls are gonna knock the crap out of it to see if it will spring back, I was gonna see what it could handle, now I relize its for kids but really!! The age range is sooo deceiving its more for a 1-3 yr old. I got it wanting to help my Grandson with focus, reflex, and concentration. SOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!

The set itself if super cute and flexible. However thia is better for a toddler age. It was good for my 3-6yos. Also it came with 2 left gloves

I picked up one of these sets for my kids to practice with. We ran into several issues, but rather than hitting everything I'll focus on the top three.#1 - Base spring. The durable spring was the first piece to develop a flaw, adding a lean to the punching bag after only a few weeks of use. I would be able to get the spring mostly back to straight through adjustments, but the lean would always return after use.#2 - Inflation. Nothing in the provided guidance clarifies what the ideal inflation would be for this device. There are cautions against under and overinflating, but no guidance on what proper inflation looks or feels like.#3 - Bag seams. After about one month of use, the bag seam began to untuck from the black plastic base. There was no way to tuck/reseal. Despite our efforts, this eventually led to the bag fraying further, and ultimately becoming unsafe after just three months of use. We've had it sitting in a closet since, unsure of how to repair it - or if we should even try.#4 - Gloves. While the set claims suitability for ages 3-10, the gloves most certainly were for the lower end of that range. We had several children try them, and the oldest child they fit reliably was a 7yo boy. None had particularly large hands for their age.Was everything bad about this set? Not at all. The base was well designed, never once leaking or causing the set to flip or fall during use. The height adjustment knob worked well, though the children were not strong enough to turn the knob firmly themselves. The pump that came with the set was okay, nothing good or bad to say about it. Just don't set expectations of this lasting more than a few months, or being suitable to children over the age of 8 (unless particularly small for their age

The tube got bend when it got used for the first time

I'm an adult wheelchair boxer so this was a perfect height for me. The ones designed for adults are too high for me but this one is great. It stands up to very tough, long workouts. I don't use full power on it because that's not what it's for, but got speed, endurance, timing and technique it gives me everything I need. It can certainly handle any punches a child could throw but children need to understand how It's supposed to be used. It's not a heavy bag and shouldn't be used as such. It does the job it was designed for and is great for anyone requiring a reflex bag at this height range. I use bag gloves with it because I did cut my knuckles when my fist slid down the ball and caught the metal sleeve at its base. I don't considered this to be caused by a flaw in the design but simply a hazard that goes with the activity and the gloves solve the problem. The gloves it comes with are ok for very young children only. I'm very pleased with this product.
