I bought this as a universal charger for a variety of older devices for which the OEM power cubes have died.A couple of cordless drills that use 4V, charged well at 4.2V.Note that the output voltage displayed varies in steps, not continuously. That might be a problem with a voltage sensitive device, so be warned.Also tried it on a LED floor lamp that had a 19V DC cube. I found that I liked a slightly lower light output at 15.6V, works fine at lower than specified voltage, nice!Overall, I'm happy with it. Buying another so that I have one for the floor lamp and another for my original purpose!

The product is very useful and handy the only thing wrong with it is that if you accidentally set the voltage to high the item you are charging or using will not work anymore

Best $25 I ever spent I use it to charge things up to find out if batteries are chargeable this thing is amazing got to have it can't live without it

Literally 3 days after the return period it stopped working. If I turn it on, the led will show for about 5 seconds, but would not go over 6v. Then it dies... If a tap it against something it will come back on but the power is very low. Lower than it is even showing. After hearing sparking noises (no smell) coming from inside, I quit messing with it.It worked well for what I needed, but the only thing I can think that could have caused it was that I normally only used it for a few minutes at a time. This time it was a few hours. If It cant stand a few hours of use, what good is it?

I had no idea it was low power, but still profoundly useful. Easy adapter swap, but very touchy dial! With the digital display it is still very easy to use. Glad I ordered it, even if it didn’t quite fit my need I had in mind.

I needed a 7V DC 30mA power supply to replace my fireplace’s control unit power supply. After searching options online, I couldn’t find any that would provide the exact 7V DC output. So, I decided to get this one which allows for a selectable output voltage range. This was probably an overkill for my needs but it was cheap enough and simply got the job done. As the reviews say, the dial is very sensitive but it wasn’t a big deal. The reading on the display is slightly different than a multimeter read, so I’d recommend using a multimeter to get a precise output. As for the lifetime of this product, I’m yet to see it as I just got it installed.
