Such a great car! My son will be 2 next month, & like most little guys he is obsessed with cars, or anything with wheels for that matter! He literally stops in his tracks every time we are at the park or splash pad & sees one of the older model push buggy cars (the red/yellow/blue ones). He would then run over and immediately try to squeeze himself in... He is quite big (tall) for his age, and didn't mind a bit that his knees were up to his chest! I, however, didn't want to buy him something he had clearly already outgrown, so I started to check around on amazon and decided on this model... Newest version, easier steering, whisper wheels, with a bigger car for my big boy! It was originally going to be one of his birthday gifts, but we were out front playing when the FedEx guy came, and my son chased the poor guy down to the front door yelling, "Car, car! Beep-beep!" (FYI- It comes in the original manufacturer's box, with no additional packaging covering up the pictures) When daddy came home that afternoon, we put it together in about 40-45 minutes during our son's nap (that's including the time it took to hunt down a 2x4 scrap piece of wood for assembly!) It was 41 steps, but we didn't have much difficulty getting it together, however I do wish they would just charge a bit more and ship fully assembled with the decals in place... Then I wouldn't feel as bad when shipping it to friends/family as a gift! I did take the advice of other reviewers and covered the screw holes on the windshield with putty before putting on the decals, and it looks great! The storage space under the hood is much smaller then I was envisioning, but I just attached a Velcro stroller clip/carabiner around the handle and it easily carries his toddler backpack. I love how the handle folds under the car for transport, fits easily in all the trunks we've tried it in. The seat belt is a nice feature, and I like that it is screwed into the car's body- nice & secure! The cup holders just fit my son's 12 & 16oz. Thermos Funtainer thermoses, but anything wider would be a no-go. My son has been in it pretty much non-stop since we gave it to him, and loves when we run fast down the hills on our walks. Like I said before, he is quite big for almost 2, and I think he will be able to use it until next summer when he turns 3 (at least). For the low, low price of $58 (+ tax) shipped and at my door in 2 days with Prime, this car is definitely a no-brainer! Buy it, your kiddo will thoroughly enjoy it (and assembly isn't as bad as many made it out to be... Just carve out an uninterrupted hour, with an assistant if possible, and you will be golden!)

We take this to shopping centres in and around the city centre and our 14 month old son loves it. We get looks all the time, I have also placed a little bluetooth speaker under the bonnet so we can play his fav music as we push him along :)

I am so glad I chose this car with that little extra wheel in front to make for smooth turning. It really makes it so easy to push and turn and walk with this little car. Never thought it would be so effortless and easier than a stroller. My son (14 months now) loves this car still (we've had it a couple months) and will just sit and sit in it for long walks or if parked, he climbs in and out and in and out. I tell everyone this is really my present to myself as he loves to go for walks but also will just chill in it, turning the wheel and honking the horn if we are at the neighbors house talking. Its a great way for me not to have to hold him as much and occupies him so long. He loves taking it for walks as he can see out well and for me its so easy to keep an eye on him. Its very sturdy and even my 3.5 year old goes for rides and I run him around fast it in. We all really love this thing. I wasn't going to get another "thing" to fill our garage but this was so worth it for me! It actually makes my life easier. I can't put much in the cup holder on top (only fits a plastic water bottle) but i do stick in doggie bags or snacks. The little cup holder below is great though. I even line up treats in the other little opening in the car on the other side.I highly recommend. Im guessing it's appropriate probably for age 8 months and up as long as your child is a good sitter And my 3.5 year old still loves it but more for playing around. I do think he'd go for walk in it but i usually give it to the little guy. There is a seat belt in it but the child still needs to be a good sitter to use.
