MoenYB5486ORB Kingsley Bathroom Hand Towel Ring, Oil-Rubbed Bronze

I really like Moen products but the two towel rings I purchased are defective. After anchoring the mounting brackets to the wall and then fastening the rings to the bracket I immediately noticed that the rings were not properly aligned with the mount. The rings are crooked by about 10 degrees. You can wiggle the ring to straighten it but it just returns to the previous position. I have uploaded a picture to the product to illustrate the problem. I have not seen any other reviews with this complaint so perhaps the problem is restricted to only a few of the inventory with the oil rubbed bronze finish. I cannot stand having hardware that is not square and plumb so I chose to return the towel rings to Amazon.

The first towel ring I received had a defective finish on two different parts. The first defect was on the very front of the part that sticks out from the wall. There were obvious black lines and dots in the finish. They were IN the finish and would not rub off. The second defect was in the ring. On the bottom of the circle was a large area (about 3 inches in length) that was all scratched. However, the scratches did not look new since they were not shiny. They had the brushed nickel finish over them. Therefore, they must be in the actual metal before it was polished. Why this "seconds" towel ring was shipped to a customer perplexed me. It was packaged in a MOEN box, and therefore must have been released from their factory in this condition. However, with their usual great Amazon return policy, the supplier is shipping a new one to me. Whether or not it has any defects remains to be seen. If it is a nice one, I will raise my rating to four stars.

I really prefer shiny polished brass products in my home. We have several of these in various bathrooms & they really are nice-looking and practical. Good quality and useful too.

I did a TON of research on fixtures and accessories for our new bathroom and I am very happy I settled on the Moen Kingsley line. It's very tasteful from a design standpoint and very well made. It's not the cheapest but I'd rather pay a little bit more and get a high quality fixture that I don't have to worry about replacing. Installation is straight forward and takes less than 5 minutes. My only gripe, and it's a small one, is that some of the set screws have worked loose and required re-tightening. After one tightening job I've never had to go back, though, so to me it's still a 5-star product. I can highly recommend the Moen Kingsley line!

This Moen towel ring is very nice, sturdy, and matches the Kingsley set. It sticks out further than my previous ring and in one of my bathrooms it looks a little too far out. However, it is good to be far out since it allows the hand towel to dry and not rest, wet against the wall.

Overall, these are very attractive. They look, and are, much more substantial. It came with a sheet to make the mounting easier, but still a little challenging by yourself to line up and to screw in enough to get and stay flush against the wall (since these are more substantial, they are heavier and pull away from the wall). Overall, would buy again, just pay attention on the install.

Looks fantastic. I bought the complete set with the robe hook, hand towel, small towel bar and toilet paper holder. I am very happy with all of them.
