It's my first razor of this kind so I have nothing to compare it to. I purchased it because people were saying it was more sustainable than plastic razors and also because I got tired of paying nearly 40$ for 4 cartridges of blades that barely last. I only used it once but I can already tell it's well invested money; my legs have never felt this smooth in a while, it's also awesome for the bikini area since it gives you a closer shave. You do have to be carefull not to get cut but it was much easyer that I would have expected! The color is stuning, I really love it. The razor also have a nice heavy weight which makes it feel more expenssive, it's small enought for travels. Also it arrived within 24 hours after ordering which I'm so happy about!

I had been curious about making the switch for a long time now but due to having MS and numbness in my fingertips, I hesitated since I didn’t want to cut myself. I continued to read more and more about it before finally buying a men’s handle since I figured either I could use it or my husband could. Now I’m a full time safety razor user and my husband is still pretty stuck on his Gillette blades out of the ease of use. Let me just say how satisfying it is to have a pack of 50 blades that I got for ten bucks at my disposal whenever I start feeling like the blade it getting dull. There’s a learning curve like there was when using disposable blades but the shave is better and it’s significantly cheaper. I always thought that there must be a reason why people usually fork out as much as they do for disposables. There isn’t. There simply isn’t and I briefly held my head in shame as someone who despises advertising yet I fell for what feels like buying into the ultimate gimmick on society in the USA. Seriously. Lol I typically shave every other day although I shave my armpits daily and it definitely took about a week to get used to how to hold the handle and how to shave with the new apparatus I now love. When I finally tried it, I was so proud that I gave it a go and I told everyone I spoke with. I felt like I figured out this huge secret that could save people so much money yet everyone just kind of brushed it off and said they didn’t mind. If you’re here, you now know and yes, you definitely should. This handle, btw, is fantastic. I’ve had other rainbow chrome (however you want to call it) metals that have rusted pretty easily or faded with time. This handle remains perfect months after purchase and repeated use. Other reviews have made me not try the blades that came with it but I’m sure you’ve noticed that there’s all sorts out there to try instead. The first pack I got I was a fan of so I haven’t tried others. I’ll also add that my skin is really sensitive and part of how I got here is because of the razor bumbs I’d often end up with from using a dull blade. I had also recently read something saying that people should replace their blades weekly which made me gasp. Lol. Now I gladly replace my blades weekly and I can use the savings of cash on other things. Just watch a video or two! I did and it’s even easier than what most I watched fleshed out. Oh, and I regularly use conditioner to shave. It just makes sense to me and my skin is always smooth.

Received this beautiful razor yesterday and it actually surpassed my expectations. The pictures in the listing really didn’t do it justice! It feels solid in hand, has a great handle length for use in the shower and it kept the blade steadily in place resulting in an easy, smooth shave. I used an Astra Superior Premium Platinum blade and was very happy with the result. I’m very pleased to be able to kick the expensive and wasteful plastic cartridge razor habit with the bonus of having such a beautiful tool that is so easy to use. I really hope it stands the test of time. Being my first DE razor I have no idea how it compares to any of the others out there, but if it continues to perform this well, I likely won’t ever feel the need to shell out the cash for anything more expensive.
