Nice and bright!
I put these headlamps in my 2005.5 VW Jetta. I am unable to tell you how long they last however they are a whole lot brighter than the headlamps that I had previously installed. Those previously headlamps were no the cheap ones, I paid around $30-$35 dollars at the one of the chain auto parts stores. I also need to add that these are much "whiter" than my previous bulbs. I am very happy with the brightness and width of the beam. I hope this helps.3/22/2017 Update: These didn't last very long. Maybe 12-16 months or so. I still left a 5-star rating because the bulbs work well. I think that you are going to experience shortened bulb life with performance bulbs. Make sure you use a neoprene glove to install.. Bulb grease too. Never touch the bulb glass with bare fingers.

Affordable and reliable
The product was very affordable and I’ve had the lights for about a month now. Not super bright difference but definetely noticeable. Brighter than almost any other light on Amazon for older car lights. If they don’t short out in the next year I would say they are worth it

Crisp, bright, and white!
These are perfect for those seeking a pure white light without having that blue hue that some people like to have. They arrived with a blue coating which freaked me out at first, but from all the positive reviews saying they are pure white I went ahead and popped them in. I can't say they put out a ton of light over the factory bulbs, but they are for sure brighter. We will see how long they last although for a third of the cost of purchasing them from my local store I wont mind slightly less life. The picture attached is slightly more yellow than in person, however it may just be the daytime running lights which are still a yellow light.

DO NOT BUY THESE
I put these bulbs in after Thanksgiving 2015 when one of my wife's headlamps went out. She texts me on on 3/25/16 that she has no headlights. I tell her to use her brights. Only thought was there was something was wrong with the car. Almost scheduled a service appointment. Looked on line and both headlamps burning out at the same time is rare. Whether they did or not, both bulbs were bad. I bought the cheap Sylvanias to replace. Will be getting my $$ back from the vendor via Amex. But really, she had NO HEADLIGHTS. Not just one. None!

Halogen that won't break the bank to light up the road.
Purchased to replace the stock bulbs on my mothers 2013 Outback. These are a lot brighter than the stock ones and shoot wider to the sides. The pattern seems rather good and light output extends apx 12 feet more. If you have the yellowed halogens these are a must, price is cheaper then the Sylvia's and they seem to be about the same brightness and distance.Pro's:Shoot wider and longerWhiter lightCon's:Still halogens so the light may last 1 year (shall update with the life)You must be very careful when installing or you can burn out the bulb (if your fingers touch the bulb or dirt gets on them)

Not really bright
Not as bright as I thought they were gonna be, especially thru projector type fog light housings. And the color was more yellow, was hoping for a whiter light output. As far as fit, they did fit just perfect.

Very bright white (not really any blue tint) lights. Replaced the standard bulbs on 2010 VW Jetta TDI. I replaced just one to see the difference between the 5 year old original bulb and these. There was a HUGE difference in brightness, intensity and whiteness (the original bulb gave off yellow light). Brighter bulbs have a lower life and GE has a nice chart showing their different grades of headlights with the brightness and bulb life for each. I can't speak to the life of these bulbs as they've only been in the car for 2 weeks but they are always on as daylight runners so they will be put to the test. Will update if they don't last long.
