Fun But Fragile
Great and fun puzzle but very unstable and the cube pops open many times during solves. This makes solving the cube very irritating for I have to continuously fix the broken pieces. Other than that, the cube is a very fun and challenging puzzle.

Two of the items fell apart
My son was looking forward to this puzzle and it fell apart completely within minutes. We ordered a replacement and had the same outcome. Tears and disappointment for a 10 year old. :(

This is terrible!! It scrambled in my first turn attempt. I didn’t even try the shape shifting. It was too hard to move it. I’m going to return it!!

It's the old version, not the Tom Z version. Functional, but very stiff.
This appears to be the old version of the 4x4x6, because the turning on it is very very stiff. I thought it was the newer Tom Z version, but apparently it's not. So far I've done one solve on it and it's functional and very stable, but it turns about as well as the original Rubik's Cube from the 80's. I will probably give this one away and get the new version.*UPDATE* After I posted this review I realized that I had ordered this puzzle from Ebay (I often order from both sites, which is why I mixed it up) - BUT, this picture is the same as the picture in the Ebay listings, and both are different than the pictures in the listings (both on Ebay and Amazon) that have the Tom Z version. This, together with the other review specifying the bad turning, leads me to conclude that this is most likely indeed not the Tom Z version, though I don't know 100%.
