Jet 20710 Stage 1 Power Control Module

2011 Avalanche 5.3L FlexFuel. 91-93octaneThis thing works! EASY installation! Took me all of 7 minutes. Throttle response is more alert, especially when passing at high speeds. Most noticeable change is the shift points. Truck is eager go when asked.This is not a supercharger! Don't expect to throw this on your 3 ton behemoth then go popping wheelies with the bros on the 1/4 track. I don't know what my truck can bench, but if you're in it for those max numbers, this isn't the product for you. If you're looking for increased drivability, and a better towing experience,...for the price, you're getting a great deal on some practical performance.

This is my second JET chip; first on Dodge, this for Chevy. I won't buy another brand as JET has proven effective and reliable as well as easy to install with a little care and only a screwdriver to pry with. Very highly recommend-used the first one for 7 years, no problem, great performance along with hi flow exhaust.

I have a 2013 Silverado 1500 LT crew cab with the unfortunate 4.8L V8. I have had this in the truck for about a year now. It definitely improved the shift points and the milage. I have actually gotten 21.9 miles to the gallon on the freeway (unloaded, except for the family), which GM claims 18mpg and roughly 13.5mpg in the city, heavier foot than I would like to admit, I think GM claims 12mpg in the city. It doesn't increase the power that you would notice but there is a bit. It is well worth the money in just the increase in fuel economy.

Do not expect this to change your life. It is a good add on to what is already there. I put it in and noticed a nice change in the tone of the engine and a small increase in the power. The thing I liked most was the shift improvement, It got a lot smoother.Overall a very nice tweak to an already good engine.

2009 Tahoe 4 door 5.3 flex 20710 reviewI had a few “issues”1. I have two harnesses. So I called and they advised the wrong one. After ten minutes I attempted once on the other harness. J1 works.2. Alignment “stud” was way too snug.3. Screw holes didn’t line up exactly but at a 10degree angle she’s holding in place.So.......With my new air Intake, jet MAS, and stage 1 module my tahoe feels like a new truck. Thermostat and stage 2 ready when I’m satisfied in a few months.
