After the first use, the luggage came off the aircraft missing a wheel.

Received this yesterday and it came like this! So very disappointed. Poor quality and was badly packaged for delivery. Dented and would not pop up when pressed. Be cautious of this poor quality. Samsonite, you need to do better!

This suitcase is MUCH bigger than I expected it to be, and it's really flimsy - as in unless it is jammed full, it's going to crush like an eggshell. NOT happy... :( Also - had issues with extra charges and can't figure out how to send a message regarding that to Amazon - who is the seller of this item. Tried amazon.com/feedback - but that is only for issues with 3rd. party sellers. Any advice regarding contacting Amazon.com directly?

Great Price. I paid $145 on Amazon just before Christmas. Used for a snowmobile trip to Yellowstone and packed it full of cold weather gear. Wheels roll easy, empty case is light, & I like the "no zipper" 3 point locking system. Zippers were thing first thing to fail on most of my previous luggage. The case feels strong. It's easy to go over the 50lb weight limit in this large case. The nice folks at Delta let me slide by at 51lb since the flight wasn't full. After one trip. I'm happy. Hopefully it'll hold up. Shipping costs and exclusions make luggage manufacturer warranties basically useless. So it's either buy a cheap case and throw away when it breaks, or buy a tank. This case feels like a tank.

We have had Samsonite hard side suitcases for 40+ yrs. This one fits in more than our previous ones. The spinner wheels are awesome if you are at an airport where carts are not available (lost my money for several years now trying to get a cart at Frankfurt arrivals terminal and the machine would not release them..). The side locks are great as we are always overstuffed...
