If I Were a Puppy Board Book

It was well received gift!

This is a good interactive book for my 9 month old grandson's to be read to. When I read it I always repeat "If I were a puppy" for each page. Not sure why that is not part of the original. I think they like the repetition and it makes it longer. A very cute book for touchy feely stage of development.

My 3 month old loves this book and the bright images inside - I tried reading her a lot of different books and this was one of the first ones she would actually sit and look at the pages while I read them to her. We have the Hippo version and she seems to like that a lot too. I think she will enjoy the textures a little more once she gets older. A little pricey compared to some other books I’ve bought, but worth it. It seems very sturdy but we haven’t really tested that out too much yet.

Cute

Pros: This book is my babies favorite. Each page provides him with different textures to touch. The pages are thick enough for him to separate and turn by himself. Cons: This is also book number two. He ripped the first one in half.

No problems here. Thick, colorful pages. Words are spelled correctly. It should be a few dollars less, but my daughter loves it none the less. The last page has no touch aspect just a shiny sun. Another page has just a shiny collar. Side note: The last page says something like, "If I were a puppy... I'd run up on the hill and jump around with the bunnies." Um.. Don't puppies eat or kill bunnies? Might not be safe for kids who have a dog and caged rabbit at home. They might get an idea from this book.
