Works and smells good
I had ticks in my backyard in town this year for the first time in 7 years. Sprayed this twice in ten days like it says and didn't have ticks anymore. I sprayed it while my kids were out playing and it didn't bother any of us. Sprayed it mid October in oklahoma

Generally Effective and Safe For Cats
This is a review for the wondercide concentrate 16 oz (cedarwood original scent).Below this list of pros and cons I provide a more in depth review.Pros:- easy to use- leaves a mild cedarwood scent- does not affect butterfly or bee population in the yard- safe for cats- great for repelling mosquitoesCons:- small quantity- only does a decent job of repelling the American dog tick- washes away in the rain so reapplication required after rainContext of my situation:I live in the northeastern region of the US. My house is next to small patch of woods that borders multiple houses. My home is fenced in but rabbits, mice, and birds live around my property and come by and they bring ticks with them. The American dog tick activity in my yard is the main reason I purchased this product. In Depth Review:After spraying my yard twice (in a span of two days), I have noticed that mosquito activity at night in my yard has dramatically decreased. I used to get a decent amount of mosquito bites at night, but treating the yard with this spray has dealt with that problem. As a bonus, I still see beneficial bug activity in my yard like bees and butterflies. The spray also leaves the yard with a mild and pleasant cedarwood scent.I also have cats that wander in the yard (they don’t go beyond the fence so they don’t bring in ticks from the outside) and I have taken them out moments after finishing spraying and they haven’t had any adverse experiences with a recently treated yard. I’ve done this for at least 2 summers, so I can say that with the proper dilution, wondercide has not harmed my cats.Speaking of dilution, this is one of the weaknesses of the product. The instructions on the bottle are very small and can be difficult to read. For a quick guide to those that need it, you need to mix 10 oz of the concentrate with 22 oz warm water then mix until it becomes a white liquid. Since this is a 16 oz bottle, you don’t even get 2 whole mixes out of this thing. I make it stretch by mixing 8 oz concentrate with 18 oz water (this maintains the ratio and let’s me get two mixes out of it). I generally pour the concentrate and then the water into the yard spray bottle I had (the 32 oz yard spray with attachment) and shake the bottle before attaching the hose and spraying. To be fair, I have a small to medium sized yard and each dilution lasts about 6-8 treatments, so about 12-16 treatments in total per bottle of concentrate. This lasts maybe a month or two depending on the rain and tick activity in my yard. You need to reapply this after rain l, so rainy weeks and months can mean lots of use. Tick activity in my yard also influences how I use this spray. Sometimes 2 consecutive days of spraying are good, but if I see continued tick activity, I go for 3 or sometimes 4 consecutive days of spraying. Speaking of tick activity, the spray does only a decent job of repelling the American dog tick. I have personally seen this species of tick flee my yard after application. However, I have also found ticks in my yard, the day following a second application. To be fair, I find the ticks in areas near the edge of my yard, particularly near shrubbery, tall grasses and areas of high animal traffic like the bird feeders. I suspect the ticks got there by a hitching a ride on the animals that like to go in those areas. So this spray does not completely eliminate the tick issue. I haven’t had any fleas or deer ticks on my cats or in the yard so maybe this has helped repel them, but then again it may be because those critters don’t generally come into my area.My final verdict:Wondercide is good for deterring mosquitoes and generally (but not always) repels the American dog tick. As a bonus, it does not seem negatively impact butterfly or bee activity and seems to be safe around cats. It is easy to dilute and easy to apply to the yard, but I wish there was a better price to concentrate volume ratio. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to control pest activity in their yard with something pet and bee friendly.

Natural insecticide
Product is better than advertised! It really really works well and I would definitely recommend this to anyone! It works on more than fleas and ticks. My cats were very sensitive to the fleas and I sprayed outside! The cats seemed to settle down and they quit jumping everywhere because of the fleas. Smells like cedar, and it’s safe to use around animals.

Smells great but does not work as advertized.
This stuff smells like a lovely cedar forest when applied but the effectiveness of driving away fleas is simply not present. Upon applying it, it felt like the flea infestation only got worse. We had to call actual professional exterminators to come and eradicate the problem. If you want a lovely scent, this is the stuff but if you want a pest control product, this is likely not for you.

Tried this over the summer and really works!
This stuff really works. I was amazed. The cedar smell is quite pleasant. So easy to use. No little bugs, even around the lights in the night. Yet my yard was full of pollinators such as bees and butterflies. Didn't affect them. I did a little experimenting and stopped using it for a couple weeks. The bugs were back. Especially the mosquitoes. Then used it again and they were gone. Also used it in my son's backyard which is by a lake and didn't tell him. I asked him how the bugs were and he said amazingly he hadn't noticed any lately. Also I didn't use it in my front yard and the mosquitoes and gnats were horrible. But my backyard, nothing. It is a bit pricey and yet certainly in keeping with say a bug service. You also have to use it every couple weeks and especially after a hard rain. But it works. There was a class action suit against them but only because they say that all their ingredients are natural. And they were, but one source dried up so they had to end up using an ingredient that isn't considered "natural" but was used all the time in soaps and shampoos without issue for decades. Truly makes such a difference in the unwanted bug population.
