If I could give this 10 stars I would!! It’s literally perfect with everything and the perfect portion of rice every time! It’s perfectly sticky and just like fresh hot rice every time. Not spicy and perfect for any flavor profile. I sometimes pop one in my lunch so I can have fresh hot rice with just a microwave available. I will definitely be ordering again.

Great and convenient rice for quick preps. Rice taste great and comes out nice and fluffy when cooked the stated time. Great for work and school for a fast and easy rice dish.

I just finished my first bowl of this fantastic product and I am astounded by the quality. In 90 seconds I had a steaming bowl of perfectly cooked white rice. I added a heaping ladle full of chili and had a filling and delicious meal. I am an Army Brat, and spent some time in Japan when I was a boy and one of my fondest memories was Japanese style curry and sticky white rice S&B Golden Curry Sauce with Vegtables, Hot, 8.1-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 5) . My family bought a rice cooker, and white rice has been a favorite of mine ever since. This product rivals the quality of rice straight from a rice cooker. I plan to try the Nishiki brand Nishiki Cooked White Rice, 7.4-Ounce (Pack of 6) of this same product type as I have a brand loyalty and it is only slightly more expensive, however, barring my own brand preferences, this product is top notch. The rice is packaged pre-cooked, and all you need to do is peel back the lid a bit and microwave it for 90 seconds...thats it...and presto, hot white rice. I have read in another review that you can control the desired level of stickiness by how much or little you peel the top back. This first bowl, I followed the instructions exactly and peeled the top back to the printed line and the result was a medium sticky rice. I personally prefer a mega sticky rice, so I will experiment, however, because each grain came out perfectly chewy and separated, I can easily see this product used as a sushi rice where those characteristics are paramount. I usually eat my rice with chili or curry, so I prefer it stickier so as to not become thoroughly saturated with the liquids. The amazing thing about the product is that it can be used in various ways depending on how you cook it. I will definitely purchase this product again!

My son and daughter love these for whenever they want rice quickly. My daughter uses the rice to make a single serving of fried rice. My son likes to put rice in soup. I like rice from a rice cooker better but this is better than making it in a pot. My son prefers this to the rice cooker and my daughter feels it's the same quality. So maybe it's guilt on my part for having rice that's made so quickly with zero clean up.

very convenient for emergency

One minute and thirty seconds and you have cooked rice! I have bought several boxes and the quality has been consistently excellent. Will keep on buying them. In addition to the quality, taste, and ease of preparation, I appreciate the carton quality. Extremely sturdy and secure. At first it might seem that you would need to cut the flaps open but don't do that or you could cut one of the rice bowls. All you need to do is to start at the middle of each flap with a finger and work them left and right toward the edges and the carton flaps will easily release. Couldn't be easier.

Portions are perfect, and it tastes good too. Super easy to use, just pop it in the microwave and you've got rice in a few mins. It's good quality rice too, so you won't feel as if you're eating crap. And it has the perfect amount of stickiness, which is why I use it for Kimbap too. All in all I'll be purchasing this rice quite often.
