Uncharted: The Board Game

Great deck builder game. I was worried about a typical trash ip game, especially considering the publisher and a designer that was unknown, it I am very happy to report I was stunned and surprised by how fun it was. It's not that there is anything groundbreaking or innovative, but that the simple yet elegant design was able to convey the action and excitement of a beloved video game franchise over a board game. Great job. Even friends who are completely unfamiliar with the games liked it and we will have fun playing it. Glad to add it to my gaming collection.

If you like uncharted this game is not what you think. It is bad, the directions are very confusing. They do not explain things in a concise direct manner. We worked for a few hours to figure this out and it was the most confusing board game I have ever come across. I have played quite a few. My son was very disappointed, he loves uncharted, playing all the games on his PS-4. There were a ton of components to this game and they could not explain them in a straight concise manner, which led to mass confusion!!

I am a big fan of the Uncharted series. This game is fun once you learn how to play it. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the instructions were a little difficult for me to follow, however, I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and they cleared up my confusion.

Im a huge fan of Uncharted. But this is... alright. The directions are overly complex, and there are over about 500 cards to keep track of so, I guess it isn't that bad.

Uncharted: The Board Game is a pretty decent game in which players compete to gain the most victory points by either A) killing bad guys or B) finding treasures. Most of the game is played with card components that represent different things in the Uncharted universe, such as actions, weapons, treasures, etc. There are a few tokens to keep track of victory points and health points as well. Even though the box art is a scene from Uncharted 3, all of the characters and events seem to stem from Uncharted 1-2. Overall the mechanics are pretty solid, and there are different game variants such as deathmatch, which lets players attack players to add a more competitive edge. Games typically last 30-40 minutes. I would highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun game.

I suspect if someone really wanted to learn about game balancing, this would be a good place to try out some skills. There's almost a good game here. But it just ends up falling flat on it's face. It goes on too long, it's unbalanced, and it's a game about spending cards to play cards (like Race For The Galaxy), but it's hard to get cards to spend. This means the luck of the draw factor is very very high. Overall, I don't recommend this to anyone, unless you are wanting to design board games and want to know what not to do and maybe want to try to 'fix' a game.

Sent a used, open, beat-up, demo copy of the game, but it was supposed to be new. Completely unsatisfactory.

We didn't have huge expectations going into this game, we mainly got it for our friend who is a huge fan of the Uncharted video games. We were quite pleasantly surprised to find a game with actual depth and fun! The setup is a little cumbersome, but if you can get past that, the game itself is very straightforward and easy to understand, but with a lot of variety in what happens during a given game. Especially for the price, this game is worthy of a place on your gaming shelf.
