Our dogs “Courage Tent” for thunder storms!
I have had many dogs. My current lover-mutt is notably terrified of thunderstorms, and will try to squeeze under the bed or desk (while I’m working) to hide when a storm occurs. I tried this tent on a whim and it is perfect. Folds down to nothing so we just pull it out when needed. It’s super light (think tent material and wire with mesh windows)We found a cushion that fits…. And it has improved the situation dramatically! She sits near the closet that it is stored when not being used when she senses a storm coming (way before we do) to let us know she wants to hide, it’s so funny! We also take it out & put it in the spare room when we have guests (noisy situations) and she uses it as her “safe place” when she needs some quiet time away from screaming kids. We leave the door open and she goes and comes as she pleases. She is 67 lbs, American Pit bull and is snug in the 36” (we wanted it snug for these purposes) if you are using it for other reasons, you should know the pet doesn’t have much standing room. We knew she wanted to be in a tight space by the previous hiding spaces she was choosing this chose this size. Perfect for our needs! Also, this structure is not meant for a pet that chews, digs, tries to escape. It will tear easily.Thank you!

Only for well behaved dogs
This product is exactly as described. I'm not sure why they are asking to rate sturdiness and comfort since it's designed to be a flexible tent structure with no padding. I've used it a handful of times for my 30lb dog and it's handy because I can squeeze it behind the driver seat and in front of the seat behind that of my Pacifica. My dog took two swipes at the zippered opening and it pulled enough to open the "door", so if your dog dislikes being crated, this will not contain them-- especially if they are bigger/stronger they could easily claw through the mesh openings. However, if you have a dog who just needs some boundaries in certain situations, this would be great. I'm really happy with the flexibility of the product and like that I can fold it up when not in use.

Great, but not super durable.
I bought this to move my cats in my car when I was moving across states. It worked great for a while. And then my cat got annoyed and clawed right through the side of it and got out, causing some chaos. If your animals won't do that, then I recommend this product.

BEWARE-CAT SCRATCHED THRU!!!
Bought 3 of these for a move from West coast to East coast. In the first 30 minutes each cat separately scratched a hole in their separate kennel and escaped! It was a disaster!!! Thank goodness in happened in the car and I didn't lose my cats! POORLY MADE!

Private cat dining room
My Siamese mix cat needs to eat a wet food-only diet in order to stay healthy. She's been eating in her carrier in the kitchen, but lately, she's associated her carrier with going to the vet and has been reluctant to go in, and she hates being separated in another room. I needed something for her to eat in so that her feline siblings couldn't bother her and steal her food. This fit the bill -- it's nonthreatening for her, non-obtrusive for me, and not expensive. It arrived today, and I unfolded it and put it in its place in the kitchen. The cats immediately took turns sitting in it. When the Siamese got hungry, she went in and meowed at me; I gave her her dinner and zipped her in. She finished all her food, the others didn't bother her, and I didn't need to fuss with any of it. I don't know how durable it would be if used as a carrier, but as a private dining room, I give it five stars.Even before this was delivered, I got an email from the seller assuring me that if I have any problem with the item, they'll take care of it. I call that exemplary customer service.ETA: After three months of sitting in my dining room and occasionally being folded up, there is bare metal showing on one seam. The cats haven't chewed on it -- it looks like the sewing was done poorly. It can't be used now, for safety. Let's see if the seller lives up to their promise.

Good for car rides
I bought this for use with a new puppy for car rides. Didn’t know how she would be in the car and this keeps her contained and safe. Roomy and (so far) durable. Fits in the back seat. Large enough for her to stand up and turn around. Could see this as use for travel as a temporary kennel but it is very light and very thin.

My passive pup unzips it easily and tore it immediately
This product might work for you but I'm leaving this two-star review because this is the kind of info I was looking for but didn't see prior to purchase. I have a small pup who doesn't scratch up or tear up items. However, no sooner had I zipped her into this crate did she literally paw against it and walk out within a second or two (literally). I tried tipping it different ways, flipping it upside down but she manages to paw against it and it easily comes unzipped. Also, while she's pawing, it immediately tore a hole above the zipper big enough for her to fit through, and she has torn holes in the sides of the mesh. I have only tried to put her in it on two occasions and this is the damage she could do. One night when she kept unzipping it, I even tried to put the zipper facing against a door so if she unzipped it she couldn't get out, but she was easily able to push the crate away and climb out within a short period of time. It folds easily, it's lightweight, and I guess it's not surprising a dog can do this but since I didn't see any reviews that indicated dogs were doing this, I thought maybe it wouldn't happen.

Just what I wanted.
This is just the thing I wanted for my bedroom. I have one in the living room, bought a few years ago, for my anxious border collie mix to go into when stressed. Never shut in it! Now I have one in the bedroom in case he wants his own bed (he sleeps on mine). It wouldn't do for heavy duty use, most dogs would dig right through the netting, but for a bed hideaway it's perfect. I used the first for transport during a move. It's true to the measurement too, unlike some other brands!
