I have really long thick black Asian hair - I'm early 30s and a few white hairs have been popping up. Totally normal of course, but because of my black hair, the white really stands out!! I don't hate the color, I hate the contrast! So I bought this to spot dye some stray white strands. I mix a little bit of the dye together at a time (keeping the rest unmixed and in the original bottles) and apply it to the few strands that are near the top of my head. Wow - it worked perfectly! After rinsing and drying, I cannot even tell where I dyed my hair and where my natural black begins. Lifesaver!!!

I was not sure what to expect results wise from this product, but I am so glad that I tried something outside my normal comfort brand to color my roots. I usually get my hair colored in a salon by a beautician, but with the CoronaVirus pandemic, I've been trying to limit my outdoor visits. I haven't colored my roots for a while now, so it was the perfect time to try this. The instruction were simple and easy to use. The ammonia-free solution and no dye promise was what really stuck out as I am very particular about my hair. I have a good growth of hair, but my only issue are gray hairs. It was so easy and quick to apply and did not leave any messy situation behind . I ended up with an excellent coverage. This product is definitely highly recommended by me. It is very easy to use. I only have some gray hair on my forehead and sideburns. I used to dye my hair with a pen every day. But the dyed hair was so hard all day long. And it only lasts one day. I used another brand of dye before and was disappointed that it did not cover my gray hair completely. I used this and I only mixed 1/3 of it. I hope the rest will work next time. The dyed hair is very shiny and soft, very pure black, and covers my gray hair 100%. Note that you need to wear gloves when washing your hair, try not to let the dropping colored water touch the skin of your face and body, and the sink should be rinsed immediately. I did not wear gloves, my white nails polish became a little darker, but this is my personal mistake. I will buy again.

The applicator made it quick and easy to apply the dye. It did a great job at dyeing the gray hair.
