is there a gentle cycle for wool? which program is it?

no but it does have normal wash. I don’t recommend washing special clothes in this washing machine. For most clothes including jeans, cotton shirts and pants, as well as bedcovers and underwears, the washing machine is fine. Just don’t overload because this washing machine only takes max 8lb. Do not overload the washing machine or it will break.

Does it come with an adapter?

An adapter for what? There is a quick connector for the water line so it can be hooked to a kitchen or bathroom faucet. Is that what you mean?

Can it be connected to a regular kitchen sink faucet??

I don’t know what’s regular for you. Mine is a regular sink but it didn’t connect. You can get the tip on Amazon or any hardware store for $5-$10.
