Is this a Sony brand or generic brand? Description/title is not clear.

I bought these replacement pads for my Sony MDR-7506. The old pads were disintegrating! The look, feel, and fit of these new pads lead me to believe they are indeed Sony brand. My headphones look and sound brand new! I would highly recommend these pads!

What is the warranty on these? Cannot find the info anywhere.

I've gone through multiple pairs of these pads. I own three pairs of these headphones (7506 and V6's), and have replaced all three with new pads. I don't believe there is any kind of warranty on them - they just dry out and start to flake and crack over time. It is just a matter of expectation. The original pads lasted a few years. I expect the exact replacements to do the same. It's an annoying extra expense, but for the joys of these headphones, I'll put up with it, as long as I can continue to get replacement pads.

Is the installation difficult?

Installation is not difficult. You basically get about 1/4 to a 1/3 of the ear cuff on the rim of the headphone and walk the rest on. There's a little bit of a stretch required and if you don't put too much pull on a small area of the new earpads you won't damage them. Once they're on you rotate them around a little to get them well centered. A five minute or less job for most people.

Is the padding on these as thick as the original padding on my mdr-v6?

These pads are equal to the original ones. Although removal and replacement in not entirely obvious, they new ones do fit just as the original ones do. Some other pads were less costly, by these Sony replacement are exactly that: Sony replacements, no question about it.

交換してボロボロのイヤーパッドが新品になりました

以前のイヤーパッドがボロボロになってしまったので、こちらを購入しました。純正とありますが、入っているビニール袋にはSONYのロゴがありません。個装の袋には付いていました。

Excelentes reemplazos

Con el tiempo los pads originales de los audifonos se desgastan y comienzan a deshacerse. Estos reemplazos quedan perfectamente bien en los audifonos. La única observación es que es un poco complicado colocarlos, aunque no requieren pegamento ni nada adicional para quedar en su lugar.
