I'm burning through a new filter every few weeks but the fact that they keep up with everything I do makes them worth every penny. I've changed fish loads, substrates, plant configs, everything that can possibly be done. The fact that the filters catch all the junk I put in there and keep the tank running (a 30 gallon tall) is a good thing. I do have to order these a dozen at a time now however they are still cheaper than buying locally - so just plan ahead as any fishkeeper should.I'll be adding another aqueon filter product just because of the good luck and ease of use so far.
